Anyone know how to extract a Dell bios from the ****.exe?? How to modify the ROM?

    Well, if you're not prepared to be the first to try it, then who do you expect to run the gauntlet for you (and why did you ask for a mod)??

    Go on............... give it a try!!

    Shakey's BIOS worked for me just fine!!

    prob is that someone got to try the modded bios,
    if i didnt flash the bios BBSC made for my xps M1330 we would never know that it works great.
    anyway my xps got a 4 years premium garantee so if something went wrong, i would just have to call a technician for him to change my mobo, with the premium garantee, the mobo is changed at home the next day u call DELL.

    Fair 'nuff. I'm just a little over the moon that I have SLIC 2.1 BIOS and all I need to do is disable updates until a true DELL Win7 OEM disk is out on Torrents and all will be GOOD (Or a DELL OEM Key is leaked). Oh and that combined with a few red wines!!

    I think I'll just slink back into my corner now.!! Ciao!

    Thanks Taz, I must have overlooked it when I searched. Didn't see it in the new thread that lists all the BIOS updates either. So, you're saying that the modded BIOS worked for you? I have the OEM key that has been going around.
