Good to know, because i have been removing "Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00_14.0.27323.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe" .
Yeah, I made the same mistake in the past, and someone kindly showed me how in previous posts. I forgot his name. freddie-o?

I know and so I did try but then Store didn't work properly. It seems that when I remove Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 a dependency that Store needs gets removed too. I cant remember which one as of the moment I'm out of the house and just on my phone. But I can safely delete the folder and Store works. I also disable Cortana thru the registry.
I tried this time to remove Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 and now Store works I don't know now what caused that missing dependency before and for Store not to work Edit: Maybe it's something else I overlooked. Thanks for bringing it up otherwise I would have gone on thinking removing Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 was the cause Update: Removing Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 in Windows 11 (22000.xxx) also removes Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework and Microsoft.UI.Xaml and breaks Store
Ok I found out the problem. Removing Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 in Windows 11 breaks Store--it won't launch. Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework and Microsoft.UI.Xaml get removed too I think what I did was I did not remove Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 in Windows 10 too to avoid any problems Seems Microsoft doesn't want us to remove Cortana in Windows 11 (22000.xxx)
I use 19041 ServerRdsh --> 19044 with Store too. No problem without Cortana. Now it has been upgraded to 19044 LTSC, the Store is still working fine. Maybe you mean Windows11. I have no time for it now. Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework Microsoft.UI.Xaml.
Me too I'd rather not modify if it's going to break something It should be safe to remove Cortana in Windows 10
Yes in Windows 11 (22000.xxx) removing Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 also removes Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework and Microsoft.UI.Xaml I installed Windows 11 on an external drive to test it out
On 22499.1000 with Cortana being removed, both stayed: Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.2.2_2.2.29512.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.2.2_2.2.28604.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe @xinso : HOW do you create EnterpriseS Windows 11 22000.xxxx ? Useful baseless psf and cab BIG COMBO files aren't available for this release... Did you use "modified" mum files from 19041 or 17763 ones ? I did not success yet (I didn't try for hours i'd say... )
