i have looked through the pictures and the rev-g seems to be the closest match

at this time theres no operating system on this so i will have to install a older windows to find out the bios information from there if im going aroud this the wrong way feel free to let me know.

 

The BIOS version is usually on the bottom of the very first POST screen (where the RAM is checked, hard drives detected, etc.)

 

the only thing similar to that on post screen is bios agent v6.20

one other thing i noteced was the raid chipsets bios other than that i cannot see where the bios version is listed

 

Ok, you'll have to press F2 (I think) to get into BIOS during the POST (after it beeps).

not that i can i must be doing somting wrong or not looking in the right place but it just doesnt apear to be there

thebios version is on the post screen however its only on for a split second and so i cannot read it i thought it said bios version 2.16.

 

When you see the screen, quickly press Pause/Break and the screen will pause and you can check it out.

Ok, here's an HDAMA-I v1.12 with SIL3114 v5.5.0.0 and the ACPI DSDT modded for the Opteron 275.

Please let me know if it works...I have a feeling it won't but cross your fingers.

What I'll try to do is see if there was anything between the HDAMA-revG v2.17 and v2.18 that can be merged into the HDAMA-I BIOS. That's going to take a while...

i assume i should use a floppy to flash it?

 

Dam...Same error....but thanks for helping.

Do you think it could be the way I am flashing it? Also after the last flash I cleared the cmos and removed battery and power supply. Still the same error.

 

i should say i have no expirence/idea how to flash the bios
