WOW they sure packed this bios, never seen one this full. Since pubkey mod did not work, there is SSV3 to try. There might still be hope for 1502.

    It didn't work.....some more questions I need to know.....before I / we try for a new mod for 1502....

What exactly didn't work? Is there simply no SLIC shown at AcpiScope?
Were you able to boot after you have flashed the mod?
Are you sure the mod was really updated? (NO logo shown instead of yellow energy star logo at boot?)

Could you please post the *.ats report, I cannot explain why it didn't work, but I'll have a look again. Maybe Asus prevented the SLP2.0 method at 1502

    The downgrade switch is /F

Get the original 1405 and check for possible issues. Try Awdflash 1405.bin /py /sn /f

    TIA for answering my questions

hey YEN...ASUS sent me a free BIO's chip for my M2N-SLI Deluxe..however, I really never pay attention to this board..and the chip is soldered...so if anyone who has this board and wants to work with YEN on this BIO's..then I have a new spare chip for you...

**but unless you just have to have 1502...its best to just stay with 1203,1302 or 1405**

    Soldered!:(
Do they want to make us to be experts in soldering chips? They did it just to save money...this su**s!

    @Hannes Vienna

It seems that you have tried to flash the black logo mod. Can you confirm that it was really updated. This is really important to know now.
And don't forget the chip is soldered!!

na...i haven't messed with it (1502_Black)...I thought this board had a socket..but the chip is soldered and couldn't afford any downtime on this board if things went wrong...im looking to get a socket put on this board or deal with ASUS about exchanging with me..since this is a new board :)

I'm not sure why ASUS is cramming the Bio's full...maybe they will release another update that won't be this way...I still think the 1502 is still in a beta stage mode.

Thank you for the info. So the black logo mod, didn't cause a bricked board, but doesn't work properly.
Well, lets wait for a newer one 16XX and see....... The 1502 is not modifiable this time. (Too risky, cause chip is soldered.....)

lol...not all boards have soldered chips...ASUS did release some with sockets..but yeah..as I as mentioned...my feeling is 1502 is more beta than official....but there isn't a real reason to update unless your dealing with a new AMD Phenomenon CPU.

are you using the same commands as posted in the image? The ones you said BSOD'd...are they ones other tested?...seems odd but possible ASUS changed a call method.

Yes, exactly the same commands. I have not posted my mods here but I remember other people complaining about the BSOD issue too. So I suspect they too have the problem with detected (usable) memory.
