Thanks, I'll check it out. I was hoping I wouldn't get locked to a particular version when I build the iso. I remember a vista 32/64 AIO from Orbit30 back in the day didnt require a key but had similar $OEM$ implementation. oh well, lemme see what vlite can do your link will save me time downloading the waik kit.
thanks sam good morning sam thank you.the new kit 2.2 works very fine now, what was the problem with 2.1?? lg claus
Don't laugh but the loader was script was emulating ACER Slic 2.1 but using an ASUS Certificate. That difference is why it was not activating pc's with the loader option. It was just a slight mistake on my part. lol
Since you mentioned ASUS certificate, I notice t hat you have the "ASUS .XRM-MS" in your scripts folder. Is this the old vista certificate (2.0) or the new windows 7 (2.1) cert? I ask this because I've seen one program where it had "asus" and "asus-new" certificates. I'm positive that your's is 2.1, but I just want to make sure before I burn.
Dude, it is the slic 2.1 certificate. I made sure that all the certs are windows 7 certified and not the old 2.0 versions.
I just downloaded the latest version and notice that the grldr file still has these lines: find --set-root --ignore-floppies --ignore-cd /bootmgr and not: find --set-root --ignore-floppies --ignore-cd /win7ldr Is this correct or has something changed since Hazar gave that advice?
Oh crap. Sorry dude. I will fix that and re-upload it. Thanks for the info dude. BTW that change simply lets the loader work ok with dual boot systems. That is all the change does. Thanks again for that. I will let you know when I fix that.
Yes I'm aware of that. My Vista and win7 messed up using previous loader by hazar, but worked fine with latest version. Also, it would be nice if you could add more certificates, it not all!!!
Thanks. There's a collection of certs somewhere on this forum. Can't remember where i saw it, but I'm sure you got the package already. Hope its an easy job to match slic with certs! Good luck. I really don't need others. I thought maybe others might. I think you've got all the main ones. Maybe the only other popular one that's missing is Sony for sony laptops.
I will add those commands for the next release as an optional thing where there will be 2 versions, one silent and one regular.
