    If you flash it properly especially using a BOOTABLE USB Flash Drive, you should not have any problems....I have a gigabye motherboard and that is how I flashed it without a problem. Just flash it using flashspi. I know the HP Slic 2.1 works for I used it on my gigabyte motherboard and your Bios is identical to mine.

    If you do not know how to prepare the bootable USB Flash Drive, let me know and I will help you. I took the original BIOS and modified it with a HP Slic 2.1....I did not modify the modified bios. Therefore, it will flash fine over your present modified bios in your motherboard.
