EVGA 610i / 7050 / NF72V15 Hey Fzeven, I also flashed back to the Dell one posted a few tests ago and checked the ACPI. The following tables are present: APIC, DSDT, FACP, FACS, FONG, HPET, RSD PTR, RSDT, SLIC, WDRT The original tables are as follows: APIC, DSDT, FACP, FACS, HPET, MCFG, RSD PTR, RSDT, and WDRT Where did the FONG come from and where did MCFG go? I wonder if this is causing anything? Im just speculating at this point, since your the pro. At least the SLIC is present, thats a good sign.
Dylan-Shadowlocke: Could you please tell me what mod are you talking about? No checksum error? What flash tool?? We can save a lot of time when I don't have to try what Fzeven already did!!! The FONG table cool........... IMO it's a winflash matter why the mods give checksum errors...............
CAN ANYONE HELP ME GET AN BIOS THAT I CAN USE ON MY MOTHERBOARD SO I CAN ACTIVATE VISTA ULTIMATE THANKS IN ADVANCE Computer model :Gateway GT5676 Motherboard Manufacture ;Foxconn Motherboad model :I THINK ITS Foxconn A7GM-S Bios Slic : asus
Good question, as I have been taking apart many of these mods just to see how it was done and this one is unusal from what I have seen. Cbrom show an OEM7 component where the acpi usually is and acpi is at the bottom? Hex dumped eom.bin and there was your slic!!! I'd be interested in the process too but more so why. Release all components up and including acpi place oem.bin then replace all components swapping the two??? Coould you post here or elsewhere... just trying to learn ifndef
