I think that is the best way for people to do it too. If the BIOS you're currently using is not the the same version as the modded one, follow those steps.
    - Flash original new version from mfr. (When upgrading to a newer version use switch to clear CMOS to remove any invalid settings from previous version.)
    - Load Setup defaults (and make any other changes you want to), Save and Exit
    - Boot into Windows once to fully test, unless your current Windows relies on the mod for activation.
    - After doing those things and everything looks good flash the modded BIOS of same version.

    "Let's see,....How to say this?......HEEEELLLP!!"

OK,..So,...I have an ASUS M2N32 SLI-Deluxe that has a "Legit" version of Vista Ultimate x64 running as its' O.S.,...Six Gb of RAM, and about 2.7 Tb of Drive space. I've been trying for TWO days now to re-flash the BIOS (which I believe is the ORIGINAL BIOS from 2 years ago!,...yeah,..I know,...but it's been running alright up til now,...if it's not broke,..don't fix it, true?).
I've gone to the ASUS web site,...downloaded the 2101.bin file and the latest flash tool "AWDFLASH132.zip" and unpacked it, right?.....so,....I then first attempt (which turned into 6-7 times) to open up in DOS @ start-up,..type in "AWDFLASH132.EXE 2101.bin /F",...and I get a pop-up error screen that says something to the effect of "This program is NOT compatible with the currently intalled 64 bit O.S. Contact the manufacturer for....blah!..blah!..blah!..."
(EVERYONE WITH ME SO FAR?) So,..THEN,....I try the "EZ-FLASH" utility in the existing BIOS and try BOTH,..a USB install,...and a CD-R install of the 2101.bin file,....and STILL NOTHING,...it won't even CONSIDER flashing the newly up-dated BIOS. I'm also not sure if doing this is going to screw up my "Legit" Vista-Ultimate x64 OS status of Legitimacy. I mainly use this 'puter for recording my bands' music and playing movies,...and I'll admit that I'm NOT the most "'puter-literate" individual out there. So,...with that said,....
Could SOMEONE PLEASE help me/ this.......PLEASE?
Thank You in Advance for the Assistance.:mad::eek::confused:
