IMO there are not many real good movies. With good I mean impressing, mind changing, a masterpiece. Dancer in the Dark (2000) --destiny of a young woman, I've cried at the cinema and couldn't drive home next 2 hours....need to like Björk (her music style) though... Heima (2007) --The beauty of Iceland and Sigur Rós 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) --I've watched it many times, depending on my age I've interpreted it anytime newly..... A Clockwork Orange (1971) --Government's project to decriminalize went wrong! Full Metal Jacket (1987) --anti war at its best. The Silence of the Lambs (1991) --classic, exciting, shocking. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) --very good soundtrack (classic music), impressing story of somebody who has an extraordinary sense of smell. Mars Attacks! (1996) --The best laugh ever.. The Cell (2000) --choreography impressing. Theater of Blood (1973) --English black sense of humor Birdy (1984) --Nicolas Cage at a early movie, trauma and anti war Johnny Got His Gun (1971) --Metallica's vid 'One' origin Natural Born Killers (1994) --contoversal about violence Rosemaries Baby (1968) --who becomes born? American History X (1998) --racism and to what it leads to.. Harold und Maude (1971) --a strange young guy and a strange old lady relationship I guess that's all with my personal masterpieces.... if not I'll update..
The Green Mile (1999) View attachment 9665 Inception (2010) View attachment 9664 Don't think there are more 'best' movies for me, most of the stuff is average or fun to watch but nothing more
T2 is definitely a gem, but I also like zombieland, saw, spaceballs, ghostbusters, and a bunch of others.
