    Hello,

I am trying to mod the BIOS of a Dell Inspiron 1100 (BIOS version of A32) to have SLIC 2.1. I have downloaded the The Phoenix SLIC Tool, have the SLIC file and certificate however as the readme coming with the tool seems both outdated and many of its links are dead I have a few questions.

    1) What is a RW file/RW Everything reports, is it needed and how do you get or make it if it is?

    2) Where can I get up to date information on getting/making a Phoenix Crisis Disc for my computer to use in the event of BIOS corruption?

    3) Is there anything else I should be aware of?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

    System summery:

    Computer: Dell Inspiron 1100
    BIOS version: A32
Dxdiag BIOS readout: Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1.10 A32
    Current OS: Windows XP
    Upgrading to: Windows 7

Just the update, a rweverything report, and the tool is necessary. The tool should extract the HDR file.. SSv2 may be best mod for this..
