Bios recovery HP dv4 with insyde bios, PLZ HELP

    Hello fellow bios modders, I tried updating the bios on my HP DV4-1114nr, in the process it froze and my laptop got bricked. Frustrated at HP because it was their update. I HAVE TRIED AND TRIED searching for the solution, and I have tried several different ways, including the usb drive and windows + b key, im not doing something right. Please if you have anything that would be useful, it would be greatly appriciated. Thank you friend

    yes i...

    i have followed the steps but the problem i am running into is that i dont know what to rename the file... and if it has to be bootable.. some people are saying it just has to contain the file on it... and then that would leave the way it needs to be named... thank you for you post. any additional help would be greatly appriciated.
