Simple PDF opening is great, just like the OSX feeling But files having large scanned images or complex layouts aren't opened and throw the error: "Call was canceled by the message filter"
I have a nice bug in 3 different computers (Acer Iconia W500, Asus K53SJ and iMac late 2009) When I power on the computer after a normal shutdown (Settings, Power, Shut down), the Wi-Fi connection doesn't work. In the Network charm says "Limited", but when I open a Command Prompt and go to ipconfig it says "Media disconnected". Then, I restart the computer, and it works! I think it's a Hybrid boot bug. But I don't remember how to disable it... Any help? Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English! EDITED: OK, I've managed to disable Fast boot and the bug is fixed.
Don't know if it is a bug or special function for people with parkinson (W7 has the same function?) but.... When you have 2 or more screens on your desktop (minimized, so you can see them all), click on one, and drag the screen quickly from the left to the right and the left to the right and .... All other minimized windows will disappear. Release mouse, and start over... Voila.. All screens are back Plz don't ask how I did find out
Scenario: upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Administrator account (local). When creating a new user, who will logon with an @hotmail.com account the account is created fine. When the new account is used, the Metro tiles are labelled in Chinese. So far I have tried to change the regional options (but all are United Kingdom) and also, from the Admin account, using the Advanced option in regional settings, I have set the system to copy the Admin account regional settings to new accounts. Issue of Chinese labelled Metro icons persists.
I have problem with magnet links too i don't know why... I remember that on win 7 magnet links worked just fine

Have problem to play BF3 on normal servers, then the game crash during loading of the map. When i play in our passwordprotected gameserver is no problem and it starts normal.
solitaire was freezing after the pc sleeps as the game is open. i uninstalled and installed it from store, its fixed. and w8 cp doesnt recognise dvd roms at all. is there a fix for this ?
