Only the ssu would be needed from july. My tests are all with jan 17 2020 updated installs, no ESU stuff onboard, install the latest ssu and install all ESU prerequisite updates and the bypass itself and next i let WU run and only the latest ESU updates are offered and installed by WU.
The updates listed on WU have different kb nrs because those are multi packs, the exact installed update kb nr is different depending on what dotnetfx4x version needs to be updated, here are the current ESU stage updates listed per kb nr:
Excuse me but is it easier to install post # 1 or post # 1398? I manually updated as described and the updates (KB4571729) and (KB4571687) succeeded. As for the (KB4570506), the kb4569767 is already installed, the ndp45 and ndp47 give the same error as yesterday, while the ndp48 reaches the end of the installation then the error described in the log file exits.
Please why don't you post links instead of post nrs? My pc hung. #1398 Feb 14, 2020 Last edited: Yesterday at 18:30 = the ESU updates overview Why are you running ndp45 AND ndp47 AND ndp48 anyway? and not just run the one you need.
Unfortunately it looks like some of us are having the same problem we had in May trying to install net.framework update. I have ESU v7-aio installed which worked fine back then but not now. Doesn't appear in WU. Help/guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks for the reply. I looked at the q and a's but nothing there helps. Its a bit different to May because then the net.framework update appeared in WU but wouldnt install for the reasons that we later discovered which led to ESUv7 AIO. Its a bit different this time around because net.framework doesnt appear at all in WU.
If none of them did help, just install them manually by using the separate .NET ESU updates installer, info is also in that post. Download: Or this one: But can you first start the ESU Bypass AIO v7 and show us the options it shows?
One of the first things I checked was that ESU bypass aio v7 was still installed property. The only options are to uninstall its modules.
Then try one of the two separate .NET ESU updates installers, keep in mind the one without bypass will remove the .NET ESU patcher.
Since the PC has become very slow, I would like to restore the image of the S.O. of 03/2020. Can you kindly tell me which simpler and more reliable solution to activate updates? I thank
This tool IS the simplest and the only one, just don't screw up your system with all kinds of pseudo needed stuff and all will run fine.
If you mean this, Official ESU Bypass v7 Tutorial + ESU Updates Overview: can you kindly specify me step by step the instructions for a correct installation? I thank for the patience..
After installing the prerequisite updates, mentioned by @abbodi1406 at the OP (or the Bypass will tell you what is missing), it's exactly 3 mouse clicks and a numeric selection, which is (and keep this secret) [1] There is a full GiF in the tutorial too.
Hi! I've just installed the updates successfully but I'm having printer problems like the ones you described on July 17. Could you please lend me a hand on solving them? Thanks in advance
