Thank you, it worked. I didn't know about that Standalone installer but it seems to be the solution to install ESU updates for now until a solution is found to be able to install again ESU through WU. @abbodi1406 Could you explain why sept ESU updates fail to install through bypass and succeed through standalone installer ? Now after sept rollup ESU has been installed through Standalone installer, sept SSU was not offered through WU. Why ?
There doesn't appear to be a September Servicing Stack Update available in the Microsoft Update Catalog.
Oh,shift,it worked ! Big thanks Pawulon ! Just one thing: after I rebooted, WU didn't see at first that the update was installed. So I had to run it once to have the latter considered as a success in the update list. No SSU yet though and I also have the "RunOnce_W10_Telemetry_Tasks.cmd' on my desktop. Guys,wow...
Maybe they are doing the same as with win 10, ssu inside cu: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-524#post-1617220
i see. But afaik, if no sept SSU is installed, you won't normally be able to install next month ESU updates so if it's the case, that's curious any sept SSU won't be available for installation.
Not if you don't want to run it. Iirc, this is the thread about it: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/disable-remove-telemetry-and-tracking-service.68131/
