Because the ESU 11 you installed is allowing you to get and install updates. With out the ESU 11 you would get nothing!!
I usually only "like" the posts of @abbodi1406 and @Enthousiast. I make an exception this time to thank them for their unbelievable support and kindness. I use ESU Bypass since v1 on two VM (32 and 64 bits) that I use for test purposes. Since now one year, I never had a glitch and v11 worked flawlessly yesterday. Again my warmest thanks to master abbodi1406 and fellow Enthousiast. Cheers, Bill.
Thanks for that. I created the MSU.cmd and ran it as admin. All good. My Windows Settings update content now matches the gifs you posted. I checked for updates and once again no Office updates. I thought about that for a while before replying. I eventually recalled that I hadn't run KMS_VL_AIO_ALL (v 39) since installing Office. I ran the cmd script and was more than surprised to note that when the script got to the office part I could see that it referred to Office 2019. Anyway ran windows updates again and once more no Office Updates. Decided after a while to check my Office install - If you recall I believed it to be Office 2016 - which I had deliberately chosen as according to the Wikipedia page on MS Office compatibility with Window versions 2016 was the best version for Windows 7. Firing up Office and checking the version blow me down if it isn't 2019. So unless 2016 is updating and upgrading itself I must have installed from a mislabelled ISO. Checked my stores and I don't have an Office 2019 - I do have a SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2016_64Bit_English_MLF_X20-42432 which I used to install. I suppose it might not be kosher. If there are no Win 7 and Office 2019 compatibility issues I can just continue with that version. Does 2019 update from within the application without user intervention? I shouldn't be asking that question here. I can ask elsewhere with a gentle hint as to where that might be. Thanks
All the ESU for the month of January were installed flawlessly. However, when I was running the LiveOS-Setup.cmd of BypassESU-v11 as Administrator, it just shows "Error. This script requires Administrator privilages. Press any key to exit". Why? Is there any way to know which version of BypassESU is installed in my system? Many thanks for the excellent and dedicated work of abbodi1406 and Enthousiast.
Office 2019 is not officially supported on win 7, there is a latest version that can be installed and only gets security updates. But with the use of Office_C2R_Extender you can install the office 2019 builds meant for 8.1/10 too.
Is this just another case of the poster not knowing what "OP" means? Once again... OP = Original Post = Post #1 in this thread.
