    Hello all,

I am facing an issue with installing one update on Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit :

    2021-06 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8 for Windows 7 for x64 (KB5003779)

    It constantly fails to install.

    Please help me.

And you have the BypassESU for Dotnet installed and active (it's a separate option from the one for Windows)?

The Dotnet Bypass is the one that interferes with MSI. It is recommended to remove the Dotnet Bypass after having installed the Dotnet CU, until next month.

It has been the v.11 bypass causing the errors.
I removed v.11 and installed v.9, and the update succeeded! :)

Edit: But that has been for the May update :

    2021-05 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8 for Windows 7 for x64 (KB5001878)

The June update doesn't show in Windows Update anymore :
    2021-06 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8 for Windows 7 for x64 (KB5003779)

    BTW,I previously hid the KB5003779.

    How do I fix this?

The notification states that properly signed drivers will continue to be offered via WU under the ESU program... that's the one we're mimicking, I believe.

But why the KB5003779 isn't listed in the available updates list anymore?
It was firstly available, but it didn't want to install.
    Then I hid it.
Then I removed the v.11 bypass, and then installed the v.9, and the KB5001878 became available and I installed it,but the KB5003779 dissapeared from the available updates list.
I checked if it was hidden, but it wasn't!

Could somebody tell me what has happened please?
