Thank you for your reply. I have just install the script without any error but it did not work at all.
Unpacked to desktop, right clicked on instal bat, ran as admin. 2 windows popped up to say it was done. Restarted pc and don't see any difference. How will i know if it is done correctly?
Just one window pops up, like shown here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pdates-eligibility.80606/page-30#post-1572295 & https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pdates-eligibility.80606/page-31#post-1572303
do we still need to do these steps to test before installing BypassEU v4? How to test: - install the SHA2 prerequisites: KB4490628 -> KB4474419 -> reboot - install the latest extended servicing stack update KB4536952 (previously KB4531786, KB4523206, KB4516655) - install BypassESU - install the ESU test update KB4528069
When you've updated all latest updates (14-1-2020), those prerequisites are already installed, else you need to install them, to be able to install bypass and the ESU testupdate.
Enthousiast just one more quick question the test esus went ok but when i go to windows updates none show up? is this display intentional? would be great to get the updates through WU where else can i find these?
I'll uninstal the v4 bat and try reinstalling after restart, i don't need to be touching anything in the folder do i?
Made no difference either. Running windows 7 pro activated by toolkit but not sure which way. Does that make a difference?
How do I tell if I'm actually subscribed to the ESU channel? I uninstalled v3 and installed v4 but can't see any mention of "ESU" when I run "slmgr /dlv" from cmd. Sorry if I missed something in the _ReadMe.txt. EDIT: I was able to install windows6.1-kb4528069-x64_b00bef3c3a13b8bc65bfaea63426386dbb54c336.msu without any error message, but this was installed before I uninstalled v3 and installed v4 of the patch.
@JasWat1728 The Bypass allows to Bypass ESU check, it doesn't magically give valid ESU key or license
Oh, what else has to be done to obtain ESU on Windows 7 Enterprise (what I have installed at the moment)? I have the following updates installed right now: KB4490628 KB4474419 KB4536952 KB4528069
So after installing those first 3 updates and install BypassESU (along with the 4th KB, which hopefully doesn't cause problems despite not being necessary), I should be getting ESU now?
It never did and nobody ever promised you that, read the op. This is why I asked the question here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pdates-eligibility.80606/page-30#post-1572211 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pdates-eligibility.80606/page-30#post-1572236 The bypass only ever useful to you IF YOU EVEN HAVE UPDATES (the packages itself) TO BEGIN WITH ================================================================================ So if anyone can help my question still stands: is there a thread (local or external) where people share ESU updates? I'd appreciate if anyone could share it via PM, thanks!
