Searching the Microsoft®Update Catalog, and using the search term, "2022-11 windows 7" - not only do I get the November updates, but following those, I get "Updates: 1 - 25 of 402 (page 1 of 17)" (including all other Windows versions) instead of JUST the November updates. This started with the October searches. Anyone know why this is??
it's sort of a "glitch" on Microsoft's end (such ms update catalog [MUC] searches don't seem very "smart" lately) not sure if & when MS will fix it
No, the nov. update always contains the latest fixes. My french is a bit rusty lately but is the the latest SSU installed?
Good find! Installed latest SSU kb5017397, rebooted, kb5020000 is in WU. Installed, rebooted, everything ok. I though it was not needed anymore to manually install the latest SSU. I though it was included in the previous monthly rollup or it wasn't updated. Last time I manually installed the SSU was maybe 18 months ago... Anyway, thanks a lot Enthousiast.
windows6.1-kb5020013-x64.msu show this message but wmi already updated the windows module installer must be updated befor you can install this package. How to solve this problem?
Hey, does anyone know why I wasn't getting the security quality rollup update in WU from this month (I had to install it manually), I have the latest SSU installed and this happened with last month's security quality rollup update not appearing in WU (I had to install it manually btw). This is a clean install from this Sunday.
Can anyone help? I am getting a BAD PATCH error when trying the automatic restore. But due to not being able to boot into safe mode, I am unable to remove updates or fix this.
Many thanks to the developers that made this possible all these years! On January 10th we will have the last security update, any ideas on what do we do next for our Windows 7 system protection? I had found the 0patch that has a free version as well with basic security patches for windows 7, are there any other solutions?
*I asked a question October my updates started failing at the beginning of the year. Answered try to manually install first update and go down the list. The windows 7 pro in on a hdd that is starting to fail. If I have to reinstall 7 on a ssd It will be from 2016. Can I get updates from 2016 to 2022? Then get the extended updates to this month? This school here still uses it.
