    I am still picking up Windows Defender updates through Windows Update. KB915597 1.307.2927.0 came through yesterday.

    Upon checking the Windows support page I see only monthly rollups and security updates are listed. What about .Net framework updates? How do we discvover the KB number when they get released?

    MSE will get definition updates but no platform updates, iirc.

    In case ESUs are not installed automatically, how would I go about automating the installation of ESUs as they are released?

    I'm not sure what MicroSloth plans for W07 PRODUCT updates (of which .NET is) but we're discussing W07 PLATFORM (SECURITY/ROLLUP) updates... product updates are a whole different ballgame.

    Hi, I have installed all the appropriate update files to enable ESU, except for some reason KB4519976 is not installed on my Win 7x64 laptop. I downloaded the msu file from the Windows Catalog page, and when I attempted to install it I get this::

    update not applicable to your computer

    For the life of me I cannot figure out how to get this update installed so that I can use the ESU.

    Help, please.

    That is an old quality rollup from Oct. 17. 2019, you probably have a more current update installed.

    What does the bypass installer.bat report when you run it as admin?
