After KB4528069 successfully installed you should be able to remove the bypass and install whatever ESU update you want
Excellent work once again! Just one question: Did you really mean "Suppress" in this sentence? Or did you mean "Support"? If you really did mean "Suppress", can you please elaborate a bit on that?
This method suppress ESU check in other updates KB4528069 contain higner version of Microsoft-Windows-SLC-Component-ExtendedSecurityUpdatesAI by installing this manifest (using full KB4528069 or lite pack), it become the sxs winner when you install Februay updates, they contain lower version of the component, thus it's superseded (suppressed) and not checked at all
Aah, thanks, it's clear now! Thank you to you both! The new "Lite" update is once again a nice little piece of art! And still completely transparent, very nice!
Hats off to @abbodi1406 & the team for an excellent KB8069 LITE creation... luv it! Now awaitng for March to arrive...
It's KB4539601/KB4539602, not KB4534310. What are the advantages of the new script if you've already applied the old method with Feb SSU working? *Actually, I think this explains it well (worth trying at least): https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pdates-eligibility.80606/page-73#post-1578399
Afaik, none, the lite version does what the full ESU-check suppressing update also did, only no need for installing the full update now.
Thank you very much for your answer bro and your precious help you have much more education and patience than some people here who do not understand that when you are a beginner and that there is the barrier of language and computer language it can be very difficult and we are always afraid of making a big mistake! So I followed your advice by installing KB4539601 and KB890830 in the Windows Update window and they were installed correctly (thanks a lot) and upon restart there was the black screen as you specified. By cons Windows Update did not offer me the KB4537820. Do I have to download it manually or can I keep it like that for now? If I understood correctly, it's better now uninstall the Bypass ESU V4 ? I also have KB4528069 (27/01/2020) which is still installed can I keep it or should I delete it ?
Imho, if you are a beginner as you say you are why don't you carefully read the posts? Now again you post this: "By cons Windows Update did not offer me the KB4537820. Do I have to download it manually or can I keep it like that for now?" This has been answered a million times, starting at the OP, no ESU updates will be offered on WU. Most current development is this: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pdates-eligibility.80606/page-73#post-1578390 And this is for the full ESU Bypass v4: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...pdates-eligibility.80606/page-71#post-1578167
kb4538483 - according to the Update Catalog is an ESU related update, anyone know anything about it? Should it be installed, ect.? Says something about "Licensing Preparation"
It's for official ESU key users, it installs licensing files for activating with the ESU key, does nothing for the ESU bypass method.
So if I just want Feb monthly rollup (which should both have security + IE11 updates), I just install KB4528069-lite then install KB4537829, then install KB4537820, then I am done, is that correct and would this work?
