Does the WU ESU patcher work with the available CPU bypass methods?

Did you install the following updates, all of which are bypass prerequisites?

    - KB4490628
    - KB4474419
    - KB4536952

I do remember a similar problem with a different update some years back. Before you go off to those POS updates, there are a few more things to look at. Could you check the following after your system restore but before updates, and maybe also after the update that fails since that may replace these?
    1. Do you have either MS15-003 KB3021674 or the Mar 2015 hotfix-by-request KB3014783 installed?
    2. What file versions do you have for: Profprov.dll, Profsvc.dll
    3. What are the file dates for: Profsvc.ptxml, Userprofilewmiprovider.mof (these probably do not have file versions, and there are likely multiple copies)
Short version, you may have just a permissions problem rather than any sort of file corruption, which is why you haven't yet found anything wrong other than it just doesn't work. Your hosed profile is likely still there, dormant and unused, rather than gone, and that could be fixed once the real problem is narrowed down.

This looks promising. Let's hope it flies for craftech.

"Provides a patcher for WU to offer ESU updates for all editions"?

Not as completely for us battle bruised camp B adherents. Only camp A casuals get to go back to being soft and spoiled. :oops:o_O meh lucky bastards

That depends, it only work with already patched files, wuaueng.dll or wuaueng2.dll (if exist)

After installing BypassESU v5, KB971033 Windows Activation Technologies arrived. Send it to hidden?

It doesn't do much harm, but you can hide it if you want.

Yes. Exactly what you posted. I started with light. I have all what MS has out this month so far if nothing hasn't changed in 3 or 4 days
I havent did this since XP was going out. I follow the best advice and no problems

First, I'd like to thank the team that made this tool possible. I've been a lurker on here reading the posts, and up til this point, haven't needed to ask questions. But I just got version 5 of this tool. I followed the instructions, but for me when I run liveOS Setup as administrator, it gives only gives me the option to install WU ESU Patcher or exit. I have all the February ESU updates, including b4537829 and kb4538483. I didn't do the monthy rollup, instead doing the seprate installations. So my question is, will I be able to get the ESU updates with just the WU ESU Patcher?

Much thanks to abbodi1406 and the development team on v5! Lots of built-in smarts and checks within the script to make this as idiot-proof as possible. Excellent job for the extra effort! Much appreciated!!

    OK, I have a question...

As far as switching from manual download & install of the ESUs (pretty much how we've been doing it) to download & install through Windows Update (possible with v5 of the bypass), would it be worth it?

Even though v5 of this is released, I'd like to just keep the current one I have (v4) and just get the monthly rollups manually. Is that okay? Of course, getting these updates finally pushed through Windows Update is a good thing after all but I'd rather stick to my original plan of getting updates.
