The "back door" works fine, obviously it is designed for Servers (not XP)

Also plain (not mod Hyper-V) activate Dell OEM Server 2003 via build in SLP string

oembios* set is not too stressful to change?

    True.
The stress comes a couple of weeks later, if i forget to replace the Dell OEMBIOS set. :D

Apologies to Yen, as rightly pointed out - posts #268 knowledge & most wording was coming originally from his (Yen) post #140, so thank you!

The vmwp from the SP1 RC still works (see post 264) - but after installing SP1 RTM and switching vmwp I could not open an already installed Win7. A new install of Win7 activates though.

To clarify: I installed SP1, installed Win7 and then switched vmwp. Now Win7 would not open.

Thank you guys for the reports. I'm glad that it worked. Hi ZaForD, how are you? :)
I was involved finding a way to mod that. Finally wicked nick figured the sum32 has to be calculated to recreate the module integrity...that was funny.
What I want to say: I came to here back because I was PM'ed and asked for a mod. And I wanted to know if I'm still able to perform it. I have to admit it took some time. I'm learning so much about bioses and at the same time I forget things about bioses.
Yeah, but I soon noticed the 1b module header and then it was a matter of minutes.....

OK, ATM I figured how to reintegrate PEI modules at Phoenix bioses new style...always learning....
I guess this thread is already supported by sebus and others. There is no need for me to 'come back'.
Anyway it was funny to mod a vmwp again after a long time.

    See you again, enjoy MDL.

    Dear Yen,
    Thanks for the patched vmwp.exe.
I tested it with a previously installed Server 2008 R2 core virtualized instance and Dell certificate and it worked flawlessly.
    Great Work.

Why do you think so? Only answer of sebus is #281 and to call peoples "dummies" who can not do that. Also if i can succeed to make it, it will not be like as i want (multi manufacturer). He could modify and post modifed at same time he write such empty messages to people if he wants to support people.

Hey Yen, things are fine here.
Thanks for the welcome back. :)

    @liliactr,
Some sections of the forum assume a certain level of knowledge because of the complexity involved in the subjects.
e.g. Virtualization, Windows Server and the Linux part of Mac OS and Linux

As such the posters tend to advise you, or lead you through the process, thus helping you learn.
Which after all, is what this forum is all about. ;)

Why did not you do on your own then? I have enough knowledge about assembly and other stuff, i can do/did (also works) it on my own too. Just i prefer to use Yen patched one ;) If i am normal user he is microsoft for me.

Do not need to thank him anymore because as i understand he gave up to return this forum after your NICE comments :(
