    A brand new interview:
"Omicron Talk with Prof. Dr. Terrence Kommal From South Africa"

So far it wouldn't really matter...it seems vaccines will become obsolete or at least their risk/benefit will further worsen as Omicron seems to be far more harmless....

If things will tighten this way Omicron can be the start of the end of a global pandemic where tons of people have to be on ventilators /ICU.

For all those who have decided to be unvaxxed it is best to do anything not to catch delta until Omicron has taken over.

Public Health Policy and advice are not given on the "IF" basis, I think you should know that...

In the meantime, we should all be following the MEASURES and get vaccinated!

Omicron is NOT the only variant currently about and - killing people!!!

P.S. I did get the booster dose of Pfizer...

The epidemiological relevance of the COVID-19-vaccinated population is increasing

    Günter Kampf

High COVID-19 vaccination rates were expected to reduce transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in populations by reducing the number of possible sources for transmission and thereby to reduce the burden of COVID-19 disease. Recent data, however, indicate that the epidemiological relevance of COVID-19 vaccinated individuals is increasing.

In the UK it was described that secondary attack rates among household contacts exposed to fully vaccinated index cases was similar to household contacts exposed to unvaccinated index cases (25% for vaccinated vs 23% for unvaccinated). 12 of 31 infections in fully vaccinated household contacts (39%) arose from fully vaccinated epidemiologically linked index cases. Peak viral load did not differ by vaccination status or variant type [1].

In Germany, the rate of symptomatic COVID-19 cases among the fully vaccinated (“breakthrough infections”) is reported weekly since 21. July 2021 and was 16.9% at that time among patients of 60 years and older [2]. This proportion is increasing week by week and was 58.9% on 27. October 2021 (Figure 1) providing clear evidence of the increasing relevance of the fully vaccinated as a possible source of transmission. A similar situation was described for the UK. Between week 39 and 42, a total of 100.160 COVID-19 cases were reported among citizens of 60 years or older. 89.821 occurred among the fully vaccinated (89.7%), 3.395 among the unvaccinated (3.4%) [3]. One week before, the COVID-19 case rate per 100.000 was higher among the subgroup of the vaccinated compared to the subgroup of the unvaccinated in all age groups of 30 years or more. In Israel a nosocomial outbreak was reported involving 16 healthcare workers, 23 exposed patients and two family members. The source was a fully vaccinated COVID-19 patient. The vaccination rate was 96.2% among all exposed individuals (151 healthcare workers and 97 patients). Fourteen fully vaccinated patients became severely ill or died, the two unvaccinated patients developed mild disease [4].

The US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identifies four of the top five counties with the highest percentage of fully vaccinated population (99.9–84.3%) as “high” transmission counties [5]. Many decisionmakers assume that the vaccinated can be excluded as a source of transmission. It appears to be grossly negligent to ignore the vaccinated population as a possible and relevant source of transmission when deciding about public health control measures.

Of course, WTF: they do not get a booster and they do NOT respect the measures but cockily think they are now immune and therefore do the BS thing and throw caution to the wind...

It really is NOT that difficult to figure out! One stroll down a shopping centre in the UK and all is clear as day - high % of vaccinated, double and triple vaccinated but...

This is reasonable. Any issues? I hope you are well. :)

The decision (to get vaxxed or not) has been made at first jab. (One cannot become 'unvaxxed' once one has got the first jab).

Those people saying there cannot be any long time events in future since the vaccine leaves body after a few months don't have a clue of how vaccines are working.
To the immune- and inflammatory system it doesn't matter what are side effects and wanted effects. One cannot claim for a long lasting protection (creating memory cells) and and the same time saying anything bad is over after a couple of months.
The vaccine itself may leave body, but it initiates a cascade of reactions.

The greatest BS that is done is to vaccinate the recovered people. They already have a 11 to 24 fold more protection than the vaxxed (depends on which study one is reading).

My dad will get Pfizer next Saturday. I helped him getting all the papers (informed consent, med. questionnaires) so he can read them thoroughly at home.
I am not anti-vaxx per se. Always pleaded to protect the vulnerable people.(my dad has cancer).

The IF basis is applied all the time, but only one way.
IF things are getting worse, numbers are getting higher....comes from a mass psychosis. And the MSM is enhancing that psychosis.
And at vaccines the adverse events are massively under-reported. Future will tell how massively.

Thanx, I am OK, I felt the place in my arm where I was given the vaccine for a couple of days and it was OK after that... No issues whatsover so far.

As for IF: I meant that the message to the public via P.H.P. has to be clear, precise and coherent!

When one starts with tons of "ifs" one ends having tons of loopholes and confused people...

I mean, just look at our, UK, government, FCOL...

Good to hear. Hope my dad will be fine when he'll get his booster, too.
He's a sort of black humour, saying I don't mind that Pfizer has no study about carcinogenicity....I have it already...and I am old.

    It's the same here.

    One more back to 'IF'.
I mean the 'ifs' are always a one-way concern where the vaccines get credits and other treatments discredit. There is STILL no early treatment!!
If positive go home. And when you get severe call the ambulance WTF?
Many people would not occupy hospitals IF this would change!

Also the concerns. If you would apply the same fearful mind to the vaccines 'they' do at COVID.....nobody ever would justify vaccine mandates.

Soon here will be a vote for compulsory vaccinations.
And if they come true I need a lawyer. And if the laws should allow my employer to enforce it I will have to make a hard decision to stay or to resign.

Hope no complications will happen - your Dad certainly doesn't need any more complications, damn... :( Sorry to hear about that! :(

Well, countries are not measured by how many and how well treated are its mill- and billionaires - but it's most vulnerable, needy and weak!

And in this pandemic certain countries (like Sweden) have chosen to continue as before, sacrificing the weak and elderly to the altar of "normality for everyone else"!

Damn, I did not expect that from them! "We wanna continue as before, the death rates and serious complications are low and we don't wanna be 'incommodified' by these wretched sods!"

Sweden had a high reputation of a country that does not do that to large, vulnerable chunks of its population and this was certainly a grave error for an allegedly highly developed, Social-Democratic country, with a really good Public Health system!!! I mean, we can see such attitudes in action in USofA, Brazil and similar countries but not Sweden! And yet...

They knew that if they do not implement drastic measures they will pay dearly - and they did, their death and severe complication rates were much higher than comparable, neighbouring countries but they did not care, they kept filling their hospitals with C-19 patients - displacing all other patients - and that was the end of it, as an alleged "social consensus" was achieved, they claimed, so they simply carried on, no matter what, coldly and heartlessly calculated, as if they have no developed social conscience!!!

What we have as a consequence of similar or patchy policies and loopholes galore, in public health systems around the world, speaks volumes, as up to a third of medical staff are contemplating or preparing to leave the profession, since stress levels and PTSD are at a war-time high. No one saw so much death and no one expected to have so many patients die on their hands, plus so many not receive their treatment due to C-19 situation and all that combined means we are now in serious trouble, as pay for nurses etc. is criminally low and it is expensive to train as nurse etc. Bad policies, bad strategy, bad governing all round ==> brace yourselves for impact! The UK, USofA etc. simply drain other, poorer countries of medical staff, already trained and ready to work for pittance, exploiting the world inequality situation in the gravest sense of the word "imperialism"...

We (Humanity) bought some time with the quickly assembled vaccines but the rest of it was a patchwork of grave errors and laughable loopholes. Well, they would have been laughable, had they not been tragic!

I hope this perspective helps you in your deliberations, as this is the meaning behind our disagreements with regard to P.H.P. on C-19.

Get vaccinated, unless in a group which shouldn't get vaccinated! There are various vaccines, so choose carefully and best of luck!

Stay well, stay safe and best of luck with your vulnerable father!

P.S. My 78-year old mum got all 3 doses and she is OK, even though my step-brother fell severely ill with long Covid!!! One must keep these issues on one's mind, I think...

When he had got the diagnosis cancer he had to go to surgery immediately. This was 4 years ago. When they opened him up they took a sample while being still in the surgery. First analyses resulted it's benign, so they stopped surgery saying it could be well treated with pills. But that was a fault.
So they started again a 2nd surgery. He got pulmonary embolism during the surgery and survived with luck. Then he was cancer-free a few years until metastases occurred. They grew until he got oral treatment. They started to shrink to a small size and they settled at this size until today.

We celebrate each MRT showing their size has not changed. He still has to take that oral poison with a load of adverse events, but they still work. Since he's to take those pills only periodically his life is good (considering the circumstances). My dad has the same age than your mum.

Besides of my interest in science and fun to get and understand how COVID works, I am very well aware about. I do anything to stay healthy during the pandemic.
But regardless if somebody can comprehend my reasons how I do that, I have a clear idea. It's based of what I know, and what is ethically right IMHO.
    I am not unprepared.

I do not take a vector virus based vaccine nor a mRNA based. Only those 2 kinds are available here for now.
I 'accepted' all restrictions which the govt applies to the unvaxxed. I talked a lot about with my family. They know why I think so and it's fine.

The only vaccines that would become an option, but only when I would lose my job is Valneva or Novavax. They should get EUA'd soon.

Until then I keep my vit D and C levels up, keep mental health due to meditation and 'time for myself', go out in nature for walks and take care of good nutrition. And I rely on my re-purposed drugs which I have handy at any time (would use them additionally if being vaxxed either way).

More news that supports the hypothesis: "Omicron will be the first variant that shares human corona viruses (HCoV) mild attributes in order to become the 5th brother there."

"Netcare says so far it has seen far less severe Covid-19 symptoms with Omicron variant."
    https://www.news24.com/witness/news...vid-19-symptoms-with-omicron-variant-20211208

No joke, but I really have the impression Omicon could be a real natural game changer that can be start of the end of the pandemic and become endemic, a brother to HCoV family.
It even could act like a sort of natural vaccine since it is hugely transmissible...

I am watching data closely. But so far so good. :)

    Edit:
    This idea is shared:
