If the only way to beat COVID-19 would be 'herd immunity' then the swedish way is not worse than others... The higher mortality rates they have now is just a reflection of future rates others would have to expect. This is reasoned by the fact that each individual has an individual reaction on COVID-19 regardless of the 'wave' it would happen... But the sooner there will be a 'cure' the more probable it is that the swedish lead at mortality rate is persisting.

Anyway an important point is....'where' has the government to restrict and 'where' should they rely on own maturity and responsibility of the citizens. (Information instead of regulation)... The Infection Protection Act is the way that it restricts personal freedom and basic human rights. It has to be applied with caution. Germany did it right at the beginning.... The argument for the restrictions had been to control the infection rate in that way that the medical capacities are guaranteed anytime. But later when we saw that the capacities were far enough and the rate decreased they should have loosen the restrictions in time....
