    Wow, it worked! I *heart* andyp!!!!!

    If any one is wondering, the difference was that MCFG address was replaced with the SLIC address at the end of RSDT.... genius!

    I'll drop a line also in this thread to tell that my problem has been terminated.
    I successfully modded the bios for my Dell GX520 thanks to andyp's instructions.

    This is supposed to be SLIC 2.1 for lattitude D610? Any way you could repost a link to the file? Current one doesn't seem to be working and I coule REALLY use this. Thanks.

    Apokrif, did you ever get a working SLIC 2.1 BIOS for the 5150 or the E510?
    If yes, where can I get the BIOS file?
