Dell Bios password Removal

    Need to remove Dell Vostro 3710 bios password reports <Service tag>-3FE2

    1. DELL generally doesn't use a BIOS password, why do you think you have one?
    2. The DELL service tag is always a seven-digit combination of numbers and letters. So what you posted here can't be correct.

    That the error displayed xxxxxxx-3FE2
    bios is locked with admin password need master code

    No password reset jumpers, removing cmos battery did not help setup screen is locked with admin password no changes can be made unless password is entered

    It seems the only way to remove the BIOS password is to get a chip programmer (CH341A) and backup/clean/reprogram the BIOS chip(s).
