Sorry for the late response. Many, many complications encountered to get the box and do the job... Bios flashed in d610 good. Many thanks to those that helped and apologoies for any lack of gratitude.

Thank you. I got locked out of the forum (problem with correctly parsing my password input, but it is fixed now...), and just now got the reply and the file.
I don't have that particular d610 anymore, but there will be others.

Sorry to come off like a newb, but can someone explain to me what this addresses? I have a D610 I'm trying to install a higher capacity drive in and run into the 137 gb limit/ MBR overwrite problem. Will this BIOS fix that or do I need something separate? TIA

No, it doesn't address that problem...it addresses the lack of a licensing certificate for Windows 7.

Are you using the official D610 A06 BIOS already? If not, then I would upgrade to that and see if the official one fixes your problem. Otherwise you're SOL.

A06 is quite old and has the 137GB limit. AFAIK there are no newer official Dell bios'es. If it were as simple as updating w/an official FW I would not be on this forum.
