Have you tried to temporarily disconnect the CMOS battery? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/dell-m3800-bios-recovery.77002/#post-1433050
Thanks Yes I tried that, - Removed the cmos battery for 1 hour, follow the process (pressed power button to remove residual current) Restart laptop with different version, Tried A7, A10, A11, But only for the A12 version Dell logo came and it start installation but after step "Writing NVRAM block" laptop just stop with power button still blinking, left it for hours but it didn't come back. Retried few times, didn't work. May be I need A00 version of bios?

I bought a used (second hand) Dell XPS 15 9530 model from 4 years ago but unaware of the Admin Password enabled in the BIOS settings. I only found out about it when trying to update my bios to latest version (by the way I am still at A05) since it asked for a password. I did tried to contact Dell about it if they can provide me the master password. However, they asked me to do the transfer of ownership, which is I would never accomplished, as I have no idea who the owner was. I thried to contact the shop which I bought the device, but they said they have no idea. At first when I am still at Windows 8, everything seems fine. But when I upgraded to Windows 10, I noticed that my battery drains so fast and fans starting to kick in even I am not doing anything.... For the past 4 years I have been searching for a way to bypass the password so I can update the bios and hopefully my laptop would go back to normal... Sorry for the long intro, but I have only one question; can i follow this procedure to update my bios without having to enter the admin password (sort of a bypass)?
Hey dudes! I've unlocked hidden bios settings and changed a lot. Now my m3800 doesn't boot, no image or something like that, even keyboard light control is broken. Can I reset my bios without USB drive and laptop disassemby?
