    Yup.. I try to do so, but failed.. Even I've extracted .HDR & .RW.. HEX didn't try... Can I PM Yen?

    I have forwarded this to AndyP, the tool's programmer. I guess the tool isn't capable of modding it. I could decompress all modules, but the tool gives an error: unable to find gzip header.

    I was absent the time when the Dell experts developed the compression code, so I cannot answer the question....
    I'll PM you again, for know I cannot mod it.

    Yup, agree. Error --> Unable To Find Gzip Header. Also when I try to paste the original .HDR inside AndyP's tool folder, its rename and .HDR file gone..
    Hope to hear from AndyP soon..

    right click on the file, select run as administrator, and follow on-screen instruction.

    Thanks imatrix, about my other question? Is better if before i flash with the origial BIOS and then the modded one by Kumeipark? (actually I've ver. A09)

    Has anyone made a bios mod for the Dell Optiplex GX280 that adds SLIC 2.1? I have yet to find one on here for this particular model.

    Looking for an A17 Dell Latitude D630 modded bios. I saw one around, but had no feedback on it and wanted to make sure it was working ok. A16 is out there...would prefer A17. Thanks!

    look, there is always possibly brick when flashing a modded bios. where did u you find the bios?

    I found it in the Dell Slic 2.1 modded bios thread. I know you can hose it with a modded bios..I get the risk...just want to do what I can to reduce by hearing from others who have used it. :)
