Could the link for the m70 BIOS be updated? I can't seem to extract the stock .exe so a pre-modded file would really help.

Hello, I have a Dell Precision M70 with A04 official bios. I replaced the lcd panel today. The original one was Sharp 1920x1200 and the new panel i bought is LTN-154X3-L01. I run into the issue that i can not control the brightness with the new panel. New panel works fine but it is not at the maximum brightness eventhough i set it to maximum in the bios. I searched a bit and came up with conclusions of people telling that BIOS controls the support for panel for these old DELL laptops through EDID. If the panel is whitelisted in bios, laptop could control the brightness properly. I am not sure, i am in a position that i can't really ship the new panel to china and don't want to live with low brightness as well. I hope to get a bios mod request for my Precision M70 if possible. Regards.
Shoulda bought a panel with a Dell P/N m8 Have you tried flashing the EDID? You also might need to change the display cable.
