Yes. The reason for it is that default colours are different at each theme in order to have good readability. (For instance text color on bright themes is black and vice versa). But if you have custom colors, they remain unchanged when switching the themes.
CUs have finally stopped putting it back. Both C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer and C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer remain completely empty after .804 install. In the past if you had IE11 removed from your OS completely a CU would put it back, disabled, but the files would come back. Seems that annoying remnant is now gone.
Not sure I understand. Legacy Edge will be removed in April's CU. Chromium Edge will be installed in April's CU. Does this mean that future updates to Chromium Edge will also be applied via Windows Update? Or will it still use the Chrome-esque always-running dedicated update service and scheduled tasks?
Does anyone happen to have the HOSTS file entries to block the telemetry for the Edge browser ? Or any other related tweaks ?
Edge refuse to download a file for me on Windows 10 with SmartScreen enabled. Had to switch to MAxthon to complete the job, this is very annoying, Google Chrome at least just notifies gives the option to keep the file. If I have Smartscreen disabled on 8.1, will I have any different behavior on Edge ? I don't want to be harassed in the name of the security, I know what I'm doing.
