Hello I just recently uninstalled Office 2016, then installed Office 2019 used the C2R-R2V_12 and then the KMS_VL_ALL. All appears to be working properly but when I did windows updates I saw a whole bunch of office 2016 updates install. Additionally, there are about 5 updates that are showing as failed. I'm not sure if the 2016 updates had already been downloaded prior to me uninstalling 2016 or if 2019 downloads these as part of its package.

What can I do to correct the failed error update? Delete out the windows update software distribution folder so that they can re-download? See the attached screenshot for the failed updates.

    Hello @abbodi1406
First of all, thank you for your wonderful tools and sharing your rich knowledge with us, and I humbly apologize for my ignorance.
Is that right that the only version of Office 2019 to be in MSI is the Office Server, what is the difference of these versions?
How to get the Office Server MSI version to try it? Do you have any idea about it?
Maybe @Enthousiast can have some idea about it too...
And is interesting to see that for server / critical mission platforms Microsoft don't "play around" with childish things and "new technologies"

Once more I manifest my gratitude for your time and knowledge, as other notable members of MDL Forum too

Hey, I used KMS_VL_ALL_AIO to activate Office 365, everything was working fine for a day or two. Then all of a sudden, my windows stopped detecting my internet connection, even though I could still browse the internet on Chrome and other applications. But all my Windows related application stopped working, including windows update and store. I uninstalled all changes done by KMS by running the AIO file again and selecting the 3 option but that did not change anything.
What could've caused this issue, or is that the usual case with KMS activators?
I really hope I can solve this, I recently reset my windows and lacked a ton of updates, so I need to do windows update soon.

I'm looking to install Visio Pro 2019 and having some trouble using the YAOCTRI tool. My thinking was this would be similar to the "O2016" tool that walked you through the download process via CMD/PowerShell script. After running "Click-to-run Configurator", its prompting me for the directory / drive that contains "Office" folder; implying I need to have the .img or media already mounted? Does this YAOCTRx not actually download the media for you?

Am I making this more difficult for myself not downloading VisioPro2019Retail.img and just using a conversion to VL script?

Thanks for help. Great community we have going here!

Mentioning @Enthousiast because he always seems to have my back with my annual MDL "im stomped" post! LOL

Thanks guys, great community we have going on

YAOCTRU downloads the C2R office files and YAOCTRI custom installs the office from any C2R office file source.

You can also download the office C2R .img files from here and mount the .img file with right-click > mount, and use YAOCTRI_Configurator.cmd file from YAOCTRI to install any product from any .img C2R office file.

    @poor dude
Office 2019 installed from official .img file register itself with the "Current" update channel, which is a recommended channel by Microsoft.
Here you can find more details on it and how to manually switch the update channel.
