im trying to update from 14393 to creators update....initial setup goes fine, but when it reboots to start the install it just hangs their with the blue windows logo and the dots spinning any ideas thanx.
If you aren't at fast ring, you will need to opt for fast ring and download the update and then stop Insider Program or download .cab at OP and the program for install it (at the OP [Thanks Abbodi])
I grabbed the Windows10_InsiderPreview_EnterpriseVL_x64_en-us_15063.iso Can I just update via installing that or will it wipe my current installation? In a nutshell whats the easiest way to update to the creators update from enterprise ver 1607?
This is Bulls**t. Just performed a clean install of build 15063, choose to turn off all "send / share with mikeysoft options" during the install. Ran a speed test and the broadband speed is 3.2MB. Is Microsoft crippling installs if you elect to share nothing?
In Brazil that is called "a normal day of internet". I have "60mb" but right now it's just 2mb... Maybe your ISP is just having some problems?
make sure you have disabled updates from multiple locations under PC Settings > Updates > Advance otherwise your PC will be used as a Micro$h4ft Windows update server and if your upload is chocked, your download speed suffers
Nope, my laptop works fine 75mb. "make sure you have disabled updates from multiple locations under PC Settings" I pretty sure that was one of the options I said no to during the install. Just been in contact with MS, they told me it's fairly new, expect issues which might get fixed before the rollout on the 11th? Yeah right..
I am running 1703 for a few days now, made 200+ svf and svf/sfx patches on it, downloaded tons of iso's to create those patches, running vmware, etcetc, no problems so far
Im asking GAIN,CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS'' im trying to update from 14393 to creators update....initial setup goes fine, but when it reboots to start the install it just hangs their with the blue windows logo and the dots spinning any ideas thanx
I hooked up my Linksys AE6000 Wi-Fi adapter to check and was getting lousy speeds (I shut off my wired temporarily), so I downloaded the latest drivers from Linksys's site for the adapter and now I'm back to normal speeds. About 70Mbits/sec on the 5 GHz band and about 50 on the 2.4 GHz band (my isp feeds me about 70Mbits/sec max.) Did you check for the latest drivers? Also, I'm running 15063.14. Have you upgraded to that?
1) Uninstall your Antivirus 2) If you are running any tweaks like using O&O Shutup10, remove all the tweaks it made, go back to stock Windows otherwise the update won't work
For those who installed kb4016252 and now get it re-offered by WU (after changing Rings) or an error when manually installing it, here is the workaround which worked for me. I just experienced the error because i changed rings from Fast to Release Preview (and you get the new release of kb4016252 offered by WU). What i did is: Uninstall the currently installed kb4016252 Did an online resetbase Let abbodi1406's W10UI install the new release of kb4016252 Code: ============================================================ Extracting/Copying .cab files to temp folder ============================================================ 1/1: windows10.0-kb4016252-x64_a7d437c5bcc172e3d23ba5ffb8940374b2a85b17.cab ============================================================ Extracting files from update cabinets (.cab) *** This will require some disk space, please be patient *** ============================================================ 1/1: windows10.0-kb4016252-x64_a7d437c5bcc172e3d23ba5ffb8940374b2a85b17.cab ============================================================ Checking Updates... ============================================================ ============================================================ Installing Updates... ============================================================ Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.15063.0 Image Version: 10.0.15063.0 Processing 1 of 1 - Adding package Package_for_RollupFix~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~15063.14.1.1 [==========================100.0%==========================] The operation completed successfully. ============================================================ Removing temporary extracted files... ============================================================ ============================================================ Finished ============================================================ ============================================================ System restart is required ============================================================ Press any key to exit. Heres the thing i also tried a clean install of the creator update and it does the same thing, once it reboots to start the primary install it hangs on window logo with dots spinning so is not that either.
