Do you change your vehicle's engine oil every 3,000 miles / 5,000 kilometres ? Do you wait until the engine oil life indicator reaches 0%? Do you carry a case of engine oil in the trunk / boot of your vehicle and change the engine oil when you buy a new case of oil ? "Fresh" means different things to different people.
funy = Interestingly, it lists the “initial build” (meaning RTM) as 17115 ! Second = Microsoft is still working on finalizing Redstone 4 with Windows Insiders and it is best not to take the “initial build” part too seriously for now
Hahaha! If you had to install W10 within the next couple of weeks - would you guys wait for RS4 RTM or would you settle for a more 'mature' RS3? I can't say I m really impressed with the new features from RS3 -> RS4 and I presume that there ll be plenty of holes in a newly released RS4 (but that applies to any newborn OS...). Then there's the added benefit of +2yrs of support (in favour of RS4). It's a dilemma
Building a custom RS4 image once the first RS4 CU is released then doing a full upgrade over the top RS3 with it. I will be using MSMG Toolkit to modify RS4 more or less the same way I have RS3 modified. I did this for RS2 -> RS3, it went off without a hitch. As far as a fresh install goes, I would not go RS4 until the first CU is released, just in case there is something major that needs fixing.
I would suggest do dual boot of RS3 and RS4 and slowly shift to RS 4 if everything is fine in it. Later on you can simply delete the RS3 folder and directory and its entry from the BCD record file. In this way you get a clean install as well which always give you about 5 seconds faster boot speed to windows.
