Is common issue with 1903 and steam, kill this thread on steam.exe process: steamclient.dll!Steam_TerminateGameConnection Use sysinternals process explorer. Some games stutter or slowdown cause steam keep cpu busy.. is not a graphic performance issue..
WTF? I use this mediacreationtool and use the ugprade option and just wasted 30mins after it's done and I'm sitll on 1809. Do I need to create the ISO option for this to work?
So that means don't use the Mediacreationtool1903 and try another option? Why the hell is Windows Upgrade so damn stupid. At least give the users some kind knowledge of the version they are upgrading to.
The users didn't even get it from MSFT, because it's not released to the general public, only to Developers, hence the thread title
No, I'm talking about during the installation process. It should at least say "Are you sure you want to upgrade to or this version?" or something like that. That way I didn't have to waste my damn time thinking I'm installing a 1903 over a 1809 when it's actually upgrading from 1809 to 1809 which is f**king stupid.
That's bcause 19h1 is still under the dev/insider ring & haven't reached GA, maybe next /coming Tuesday or 21st/28th of this month.
For who should that message be? For the developers it's released to? You can't upgrade by WU to it without being signed in at the insider release preview ring (when signed in you agreed to the conditions) or obtained the iso by UUP or by one of our members who shared the iso (not officially released to the public by MSFT). The MCT same story, not released to public too, and if you would have read the OP (first post of this thread), maybe this would have saved you the time and effort: Official 18362.1 aka 1903 MCT [Still Downloading 1809 March Refresh (17763.379) ESD's] https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ow-rp-19h1_release.79259/page-54#post-1515648 Temp Mirror Tool Available Since Sat. 13 April 2019
