You said you enabled Sandbox. That is one feature that will definitely trigger WU to reinstall the latest CU. The image wasn't meant to imply you enabled .NET 3.5 it just happens to be the first feature in the list and is highlighted automatically when opening "Turn Windows features on or off" in the control panel. No. And frankly why is this even a big deal to you? It is normal for WU to reinstall the latest CU when you add certain features to your installation. There is nothing mysterious nor nefarious about it. Those links appear to be working fine on my end brother!
@bfoos This is the thread in this topic - so what's going on? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...c-rp-19h1_release.79259/page-159#post-1526691
Eh I see @GodHand apparently didn't post a thread here for his optimize offline script. There's nothing going on. It just seems that discussion of said chopping script should have a special place all it's own to me is all.
I managed it that way 1. I added the missing files from the unzipped org iso to the resulting folder and created an iso using this script. - https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...rprise-n-ltsc-2019.76325/page-98#post-1481070 Works well, but is more complicated. It's better that he do this scrypt. I do not know why he does not do it?
I enabled Sandbox (and opened "Turn Windows features on or off" for the first time) after this CU problem so I had it (the problem) before having Sandbox. Just a curiosity. But like I said, I had this problem before having Sandbox.
It's not a problem. The latest CU could be installed a million times and it still wouldn't be a problem. Yes an exaggeration but I'm trying to make a point here. Obsessing over WU reinstalling a CU is pointless.
Anyone have problems with the internet suddenly not working? It just that not network globe icon on the bottom right.. Other devices work fine and this seems to have started when I upgraded to 1903 a few days ago...
I could ask Godhand if I can make a thread on his script but because it's 18362 capable now and it's a really great script, I swear by it, been posting it here. Really no better way to remove Windows bloatware on an ISO for a clean install.
thats the WIFI bug when that happens just click on internet access and wait until it detects your router some times it takes a few minutes.
You don't necessarily need the authors permission to post a howto thread that could be used to discuss the script and troubleshoot issues. As long as you give proper credit to the author/s and post relevant links to source material (IE: GitHub project page, website etc.) nobody will frown upon you.
Hey so I tried searching but couldn't find anything, any way to upgrade to 19H1 with Win10 enterprise without using the Volume Licensing Center? Thanks!
