Man, they STILL haven't fixed Task Manager since 1809. Go to Task Manager > Users > Expand to see the processes > Sort by Memory/CPU/Whatever you want > The result is catastrophic and they are sorted in random. This has been going on since 1809. Hasn't anyone filed a bug report? I cannot imagine that an Insider or at least someone that CAN be arsed to file a bug report hasn't reported it yet. Can someone for the love of God report it?
I'm not seeing that, sorting by memory, cpu etc is producing the expected results here. Scratch that, I see what you're saying. Surely for the love of the magical sky being of your choosing, if it bothers you that much, report it and share the report link so that others may comment and upvote.
Still having problems with action centre integrating the updates in the iso and do a in place upgrade let's see if that solves the problem
After update to 10006 i have sppsvc.exe pagging 100% of one CPU. In event log i see continual entries about installing licenses (security-SPP id 1004) like this (sorry for polish language): Usługa ochrony oprogramowania pomyślnie zainstalowała licencję. Tytuł licencji=Office 16 UL oob License (Private) Identyfikator licencji=d1b71488-1b42-4286-8d4f-72ac9f8894cb
In the past we noticed that action center is influenced by disabling some background tasks, do you have some disabled?
Good afternoon everyone. I recently built a new PC and went from an Intel i5 6400 to an Intel i5 8600 and from an H110 mobo to a Z370 mobo. When I had my old CPU, I used InSpectre to disable Windows 10's Spectre fixes(I don't go into shady sites or download anything unusual, I use an antivirus and I believe my brain is a good alternative antivirus as well.). Anyways, I wanted to ask if I would benefit and get more performance out of the new CPU if I disable the Spectre fixes. I heard that Windows 10 1903 has some improvements in that area by enabling “retpoline” and “import optimization.” I haven't searched any further for those two but I will now. I just wanted a 2nd opinion in the meantime from someone that is a pro in that stuff. Thanks a lot.
So getting the latest build from UUP dump and see if I leave it untouched to in place upgrade it on my system that my action center will work then Update cleaned some useless stuff with NTLite fingers crossed Yes finaly succes 3 days of work gg
I always had problems whenever I used NTLite to remove some stuff. The problems always started whenever a Windows 10 update updated the build version from eg xxxx.267 to xxxx.290. The start menu wouldn't open. Don't know if it was because of a combination of a script I use to remove the Connect app but with normal windows installation + this script I do not face this problem.
As long as it works and I'm happy all is good They put so much crap in it these days unbelieveble imo
By far, the best way to remove bloat from a W10UI updated Windows ISO is the Optimize Offline script. I'll update my how-to tonight after work in about 12 hours with System and Capability apps etc. safe to remove with the correct script command. It really is the best script to debloat a Windows install ISO and solves the issues you could have hacking it with NLite. Actually, I might make a thread dedicated to the script, the developer doesn't have one and someone told me I'd be fine making it.
Sure I still wanne have some control over what get removed I don't know how your script works but I like to choose what I remove and what to keep thx
Is not my script but I swear by it, and you can fully choose and customize what to remove, System Apps, Capability Apps, Window's Apps, add or remove features, everything! It's an awesome script!! I'll update my guide what is safe and what isn't tonight.
anyone know if you can convert this to enterpriseG and still be able to update to 1909 when it eventually comes out?
