Guys i need guidance , i have one old laptop on which windows 10 , 10240 is running with updates disabled and activated via KMS.

I want to upgrade it to 19h1 , I downloaded the 19H1 ISO from adguard and ran the setup , it ran but installation failed message came at the end.

Kindly share what should be the procedure to upgrade windows 10 , 10240 to 19 H1 , I don't want fresh install.

Same error here too when I install the 10015 .cab. I logged in the insider program, Windows update offered me 10014, and guess what? 0x800f0984 again.

Hmm so that's why those are throwing up an error when trying to install them then, was curious and checking the log points to some Cortana component and script, well might be another update issue then.
I did notice UUP initially acquired a 271 MB archive for the .15 cab file though and then a 274 MB file before it grabbed what I assume is the full 281 MB archive but none of them worked and it could just have been a temporary snag too.

EDIT: And I see it also works on some systems too. Curious but oh well not much I can do about it but keep reading and see if there's some more info available.

I had no issues manually installing the 10015 SSU and CU CAB files.

I've tried many times with no luck...

Any one find a work around to get the 10015 installed from cabs???

I downloaded the cabs mulitple times from UUP and from AdGuard's UUP, both same SHA's and same error results...

I heard disabling Cortana worked, can anyone confirm...

This is 1st time I have had problem installing from CU 64 bit .CAB. Same Error Code as everyone. Tried to upgrade from 13 to 15 using DISM. Failed & rolled back to 13. I am now on 15 by upgrading from 13 to 15 using .ISO within C: Drive.
Once on 15 received these updates

Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64 (KB4506991)

Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64 (KB4503300)

Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 August 2019 (KB890830)

Thanks for the heads up... Downloading UUP ISO of 10015 for upgrade. Will also post update if successful.

AdGuards UUP to ISO for 10015 is still converting... never ever takes this long...

Also looks like the cab file that's being used seems to repeat the operation of infusing files over and over (10015 has rollup up twice so far). Normally it's a one and done thing, but some of the data has repeated in this converting into iso process...

So far it's stuck looping 18362.10015.1.23 & 18362.10010.1.2 rollups and hasn't finalized ISO...

What an ordeal... It kept trying to mount and create image but wouldn't create ISO... landed up creating over 40GB's of data... even worse, the compiler took full control of the folders and took forever to delete folders by having to edit folder permissions...

10015 Cab files are corrupt... The ones that actually were able to get them installed was a miracle...
