for me, if 1909 upgraded from 1903, 1909 iso can inplace upgrade. if 1909 is à fresh install (from 1909 iso) then 1909 iso itself cannot be inplace upgraded. so for the moment i don't see the need of a 1909 iso.
It depends on the delta buildnr, the xxx after 18363, to be able to do an inplace upgrade (needs to be 18363.446+), or use this fix by @whatever127 Upgrading from 1903 > 1909 by ISO is a bit useless, when a 20kb is installed, you go from 1903 > 1909 in a minute
Isn't 1909 EP a mach2 like implementation? On itself not a problem, when used incorrectly, it probably can cause mayhem, but IP builds on itself can too (or even officially released builds like 17763.1).
When did this setting that recovers all the running programs (like Chrome) after signing in to user account following a PC restart began and is there a way of disabling it?
It's a very old topic, it was discussed in this forum a long time ago, you can disable that feature in Settings>Accounts>Sign-in options> Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update or restart. By the way, in version 20H1 there are some important changes in that feature: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...c-fast-skip-rs_prerelease.80123/#post-1542085 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ast-skip-vb_release.80251/page-2#post-1547510
Which focus assist's settings should I use since I don't want to have notifications and may I still have them if I don't mess with focus assist (the same with leaving it with the priority only setting checked and not messing with the automatic rules' settings) after disabling notifications on "get notifications from apps and other senders" as well as the 5 below settings and on "get notification from these senders" below? And may I still have notifications if I don't mess with focus assist (again, the same with leaving it with the priority only setting checked and not messing with the automatic rules' settings) and disable "get notifications from apps and other senders" as well as the 5 below settings and on "get notification from these senders"?
Hmm, I wasn't aware they had introduced the option to disable this, it always bugged me sinced they brought in the 'feature' to reopen anything that was open. I just tried this on my Insider 19030 machine, and after a restart a utorrent window that had been left open reopened. Still does it...
The option to disable that feature was introduced a long time ago, in build 17040: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...er-preview-build-17040-pc.75650/#post-1389568 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...view-build-17093-pc.76368/page-2#post-1409738 In 20H1 builds, what they did was separate two options that, for strange reasons, shared the same toggle, as I explained here. I also tried and, in my case, the toggle works fine, the apps that are left open before sign out or restart, do not reopen. Only those programs that I have specifically added to the start of Windows are reopened. I really don't know much about "Focus assist", I have disabled that feature for a long time and I have never been interested in how it works, maybe someone else can help you.
