I am unable to open Startmenu or Action center after upgrade from 10061. Spartan and settings app (cannot directly launch settings app, had to use network adapter connect/disconnect option) launches fine. Tried DISM repair and sfc /scannow no errors found. Also tried following command, completed without any error: Code: Get-AppxPackage | % { Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppxManifest.xml" -verbose } Any guess what could be wrong?
Mine is an issues with the R9 290/290x GPUs. New GPU that has the known R9 290/290x Black screening on boot. I am waiting for the bios update from the manufacturer.
It is random..not reflective on the quality of the actual card. It has existed since the line was introduced. So an RMA will also fix it, however this particular card runs very very cool on air even overclocked at 100% load, so would rather get the bios solution. It is just a simple tweak to the vbios power setting, as it enters ultra low power state during boot up and windows then cannot "wake it", however once you have booted for the most part you are fine.
Does anyone know why Windows doesn't remember the windows explorer windows location? It's had this behaviour in every iteration of Windows 10 so far for me.
7hrs later and still at 31% updating. Last time it took almost 7 hrs to update. I gave up and install Ubuntu instead. WTF Microsoft?

7 hours and counting, I took about 2 hrs, and I know some that it takes over 10hr. WTF is wrong is not EVERYBODY has the Super Fast internet.. gees why not live in the real world, where speeds are lower than 6Mb for many. so I DL the ESD about 2 hours, convert to install.wim about 7 min, DISM to apply another 8 min, then let MS do it s**t....
