No upgrade for you, use clean install and then activate again using KMSpico or other similar tool Use ESD file converted to ISO file from first post, not from MS Media Creation Tool Burn to DVD disk, then boot from it and use custom mode, delete partition.
I tried upgrading Windows 7 activated with the Daz Loader but ran into problems. First, the update never came through Windows Update even though I waited. I then tried the upgrade option after using the Media Creation Tool, and once in Windows 10, it said it wasn't activated. Then I reinstalled Windows 7 with Daz Loader and used the leaked ISO from wzor which is on my USB key. I opened the setup file on the USB key and ran that. After the Windows 10 setup completed, same thing, not activated. I tried entering a product key and it won't take it. What am I doing wrong?
Why no Upgrade for him ... ? If it's indeed Ultimate it cannot be KMSpico (no Volume Channel for Ultimate), must be the Loader here. Upgrade via an ISO, no need for that imbecile notification.
You have to upgrade to appropriate version of windows. Ultimate/professional -> Pro Home -> Home You also have to be online during the upgrade process.
Why sfc /scannow first? and whats the difference of it with dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth Do they act the same? Please explain thorough.
I was online, and the upgrade performed was Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 pro. And I ran into all the problems I wrote above.
If asked for any key, SKIP always. The Upgrade will automatically use the generic key and your machines HWID.
Try again? maybe it just couldn't communicate with the activation servers for some reason during the upgrade.
Only needed to upgrade via Windows Update, same applies for Win 8.1. You can Upgrade Vanilla Win 7 and Win 8 RTM via ISO. So: Partially wrong statement.
In Linux I mounted the wzor leaked ISO as a Loopback device and copied all the files over to my USB key and then ran the setup file off the USB key in Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 activated with DAZ Loader. Everything went without a hitch until after booting into Windows 10 (the problems I wrote about above). I didn't check for any Windows updates at all because it takes too long; the Windows 7 SP1 install I have has updates since around Oct. of last year. Will that work or not? Also, I was connected to the internet.
I just got done upgrading from Win 7 Ultimate SP1 to Windows 10 Pro. Windows Loader was used. I then downloaded the .esd that came through media creation tool which was just simply named installx64.esd I do believe and I decrypted it to an ISO and then used Rufus to make it bootable and upgraded with it problem free. It never asked me to input a serial key so I checked my activation and it appears I'm good to go. So that cannot be the problem.
To advise to make a VL out of it with an KMS protocol that hasn't been updated yet seems to me a solution which will become deactivated in the near future. People should go from OEM activation it will use the generic key which will remain untouchable since they are 'officially' used with current HWID in order to activate w10.
