Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 with Office 356 app for business. Microsoft Word does not have the voice dictation option like Windows 10 21h1 or 21h2. Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 also did not allow you to enable the voice dictation feature in microsoft Word with with Office 356 app for business. I expected this.
Have you tried to disable Xbox Game Bar and/or Game Mode from Settings? I read that this functions caused some issues in short past.
Yes, IoTEnterprise is virtual edition since 1903+ but it's still binary identical to Enterprise and Professional IoTEnterpriseS is virtual edition since.. now 21H2 but it's still binary identical to EnterpriseS
It happened again -.- After CHKDSK, SFC and DISM the exact same thing happenend. After what seems to be the last reboot of the install I just get these five dots in a circle and then the displays are going to sleep. After two or three resets the PC rolls back to 1809 : ( I really do not want to update everything from scratch. So annoying that the first time it even worked tho some Windows Update destroyed it... Hopefully somebody has an idea what to try next. Guess I will run CHKDSK, SFC and DISM again and then I try the IoT ISO even tho they should be identical... I really do not like all of this. Why is such a mess happening 'XDD -.-
Tho a hardware problem would mean that it never upgraded tho last night the first try went smoothly but using Windows Update after some dotNet and Cumulative Win10 Update prompted me to reboot the whole mess started! : ( I will again try the following. Run CHKDSK (already did it and it went smoothly) Run SFC (Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.) RUN DISM (The restore operation completed successfully. The operation completed successfully.) Uplug anything besides mouse and keyboard Run inplace upgrade again with ethernet cable disconnected On another site I read ppl fixed the 0xC1900101 – 0x40017 error by uninstalling dotNet and doing a clean boot and then the upgrade went without problems. All so strange tho that it worked last night and just WU borked it : ( Oh and I also tried different drives. First try was on an SATA drive, that went great. Then after the problem occured I tried again twice or so from the same SATA and now I have been trying from an NVME drive : ( Will now try again as above tests went without problems.
I really want to avoid setting everything up. Installing and configuring everything is not great at all : ( Also it happened again. This time I tried the SATA drive again to mount the ISO and exactly the same things happened. Guess now I can try to uninstall dotNet and also clean boot to upgrade. If that does not work I either have to stay on 1809 or clean install (which by now would have been faster tho I just really do not like it. Such a pita -.-)
Hi everyone! I've upgraded my LTSC 2019 to 2021 (ISO upgrade not reinstall), and now every time i open a game a small white popup shows up saying "A new app is necessary to open ms-gamingoverlay link". I figured that going into Settings > Xbox Game Bar and disabling it stops it, but is this normal behavior for an LTSC OS? Anyone else can reproduce this?
Hey you can download that at this link: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-svf-repository.63324/page-241#post-1706172 Download both the Source Iso and the SVFSFX (individual patches), then run the patch to get the iso of your language. (The source iso is EVAL but you actually can get the full iso this way. The checksum checks out)
Other runtime libraries are not necessary since you won't have UWP apps anyway. This library is for UWP only and is not provided on official Microsoft website. It's different from usual VC runtime.
