Please start the command prompt as admin and type "net stop wuauserv" (without quotations) and press enter. Then type "net stop bits" and press enter. Open File Explorer and browse the following path: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and then delete all its content in the SoftwareDistribution folder. Restart PC and try to do the Windows Update again. Note: Upon restarting, Windows will rebuild all new files and folders back in the SoftwareDistribution folder. Hope it may help

Hmm, that's good then. I'll have to try it sometime. Code: That's good too I didn't notice the Insert menu above. Is there a way to have a few words of code in the middle of a line? (CODE) doesn't seem to work like that. I seem to recall StackExchange has something like that.
I upgraded my computers to LTSC 2019 and found that the computers using ethernet could see only other computers on the network using ethernet, but not the wifi computers. The computers using wifi could see all the other computers. Even so, a computer using ethernet could ping a computer on wifi. I found the solution was to enable SMB 1.0 on the ethernet computers. After that they were able to see the wifi computers on the network. I never had this issue with previous versions of Windows 10. Edit: If anyone else has had this issue and has a better solution, please let me know.
I remember I've read somewhere it is strongly recommended to disable smb 1.0 (20+ years old protocol) for security reasons.
No idea...This is strange because you should have smb 2 and 3 enabled by default in W10, with no need of smb1 May be service related, only guessing here: check with workstation, server, wlan services running...
Those who have been running this build on their work pc for few days now, would you recommend installing it ?
been running smoothly on a Lenovo server P500 with Xeon CPU and Nvidia Quadro graphic card. only minor glitches easily fixed, stable 24/7 operation. interestingly on retail CPU with GTX cards builds is where most "bugs" are reported. I wonder if it's because server and retail drivers are different - stability vs features, just a thought.
Anyone has seen issues with UAC acting up when smartscreen has been removed from the image (LTSC 1809)? I've posted this in MSMG's topic also, but maybe this issue is not exclusive to his toolkit: - At logon, Flash auto updater complains that it needs admin privileges, but the user is admin - Shark007's codec pack warns that "disabling UAC" may cause issues, but UAC has not been adjusted from it's default settings. Cheers.
Although it might look possible to remove components, my observation shows it does more harm than good in the long run. The good 1607 times are over. Especially with LTSC GPO is the way to use .
Isn't the solution to ditch SMBv1 on any of your PCs of the same network segment rather than to re-enable SMBv1 at LTSC2019? You should be able to realize your shares on higher versions of SMB...IF it's no bug... SMBv2 is available since Vista SMBv3 is available since w8 SMBv1 has been frequently an attack vector..WannaCry and stuff.....
yes ditching SMBv1 would be the right way, if there would be another option to see pcs/nas again without enabling SMBv1. but since this doesn't work, there is no other way then enabling SMBv1 again.
