Was wondering the same. Windows 10 1809 Enterprise LTSC can be upgraded directly to Windows 10 Enterprise 21H1/21H2. No tools necessary. Have done that a lot lately, although I still prefer a clean install. Also, I don't think I'll stick with LTSC 2021 when it comes out. I'd rather have a more frequent update cycle. Cheers.
So I used this in the EI.CFG to keep files and apps Code: [EditionID] EnterpriseS [Channel] _Default [VL] 0 It lets me upgrade and keep files and apps, but instead of upgrading to Enterprise N it just says it will upgrade to Enterprise. If I don't use the modified EI.CFG I can choose Enterprise N but then I can't keep apps. Is there a way to fix it so it installs Enterprise N?
Yes - don't install N in the first place. I'm a cliche at this point, but you're installing a gimped version of the os because of stuff you can just disable. N edition is not an upgrade.
I second the reply by @shhnedo but this ei.cfg should work: Code: [Channel] volume [VL] 1 ps, you can't upgrade from N to non N or the other way, with keeping all files and apps.
Thanks I was just trying to go from N to N, but for some reason the installer said it was going to install the non N version when I tried to upgrade. I will try this new method.

Is the extended support period for LTSC 2019 (Jan 9, 2029) a paid service, like it is with Windows 7?

Thread already exist..... https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-windows-10-enterprise-n-ltsc-2021.84146/
That thread contained misinformation, got changed after correct information was provided, next it got changed again to look like the official release thread, which we never were allowed to start before actually something was released.
Alright now the full release is here and it's now busted. Still get the version error but getting direct x crashes on loading. Currently trying to upgrade to a newer enterprise version and see if that sorts it. Would have preferred LTSC 2021 but it's not out yet. edit - I upgraded to Windows 10 Enterprise 1909 (Build 18363.1916) and while I still go the error, the game now works.
I just downloaded en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_5795bb03.iso and en-uk_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_723dfbc1.exe to create en-uk_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_723dfbc1.iso with the following details: SHA1: 1BC39AED5E329237AE4CCC569F0809633CB30290 File Size: 4,327,454,720 bytes (4.03 GB) Since this thread is specifically about win 10 Enterprise (N) LTSC 2019, I have what could possibly be a dumb question. Does an official (a.k.a. untouched) N version of en-uk_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_723dfbc1.iso exist? If not, is it possible to create one using an SVF (or SVFSFX)? Note: By N version, I mean a version of win 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 without the disputed media features. This is my first attempted installation of LTSC, so I am curious to know if at all a N version exists.
