This is 100% working: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...3-ltsb-2016-2015-server-2016-techbench.77028/
I don't have a crystal ball, it will be released when it's released. Does the "blinking arrows" bug break down any function? Seems to be a minor/cosmetic bug.
Did you add the extra services that TheStutch mentioned? That's what caused my install to hang at "Getting Ready" forever. Probably related to the script being updated in the meantime. Installation of LTSC N 2019 en-US finishes successfully on my end, when not touching the services line.
Did i say the bugs don't exist? I said they are not fixed by MSFT, they are still investigating it, and i said, it doesn't harm the working.
I only am waiting for stable version cuz I don't update afterwards.. I disable it altogether.. so is the reason, no need to get angry.. just calm down.
Thank you both. As I stated earlier, I'm a bit green here so I'll create a github account to note my findings. Evidently I have been getting by in "lurk" mode for quite some time. Looking at my join date vs posting, it seems I haven't had any issues that I wasn't able to resolve by searching/reading right here. Great place! Much of my free time has been messing with Linux and Android of late. Not that I'm unfamiliar with Windows though (been using it since 3.1). I've mostly considered it a necessary evil since 10 was pushed out, yet I'm always pressed by friends/family/co-workers to resolve their issues as the resident "go-to geek." The LTSB(C) editions (with some customization) is the exception since I stumbled upon 2015 LTSB awhile back. I'm soon to have more free time and hope to participate more here in the future.
Most likely the "N" version wasn't touched by the script (line 13, second PARAMETER): Code: .PARAMETER Index If using a multi-index image, specify the index of the image. The "N" version is index:2. Maybe the script defaults to index:1 if not specified?
Thank you, but then one would need to delete for every user. I chose to hide "3D Objects" and "Saved Games" with a regedit and this removed them from all (well, both) users. I assume deleting these keys would accomplish the same thing? Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 ; Hide 3D Objects [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions\{31C0DD25-9439-4F12-BF41-7FF4EDA38722}\PropertyBag] "ThisPCPolicy"="Hide" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions\{31C0DD25-9439-4F12-BF41-7FF4EDA38722}\PropertyBag] "ThisPCPolicy"="Hide" ; Hide Saved Games [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions\{4C5C32FF-BB9D-43b0-B5B4-2D72E54EAAA4}\PropertyBag] "ThisPCPolicy"="Hide" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FolderDescriptions\{4C5C32FF-BB9D-43b0-B5B4-2D72E54EAAA4}\PropertyBag] "ThisPCPolicy"="Hide"
Can anyone explain why Flash Player is actually installed by default on LTSC (N)? Because I understood the latest Flash update does not apply to LTSC, which means I am forced to run a vulnerable version?!
No, from what do you get that? 2019 LTSC, among many other editions, is available on this MDL tool: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...3-ltsb-2016-2015-server-2016-techbench.77028/
Forgive the noob question but does the Optimize script rebuilds the original iso used to modify or do I use the created files
