It is not exiting correctly when you close it, yeah. I suspect they want to change its behavior so you can receive notifications while the app is "closed"/suspended, like you would get from let's say, Windows Mail or Your Phone (which also work somewhat lazily). Would make sense.
Why techbench does not update the Windows 10 final 20H2 catalog Its show 19042.XXX and does not has the Sha-1 ass well Thank you
@ ' System interupts ' ........ is often strangling my computer useing a lot of CPU power . Anyone any ideas please ? I've found where i can stop / delete them ....... do i realy need them ?
Stop trolling . I did that ...... and read it and i looked at them ...... its a system that gives priority to things when microsoft deems it needed ............... and i deleted all the ones displayed in the settings ......... and didnt notice any bad effects . If you cant help and have nothing sensible to say please dont boast about it . Thanks .
You obviously didnt read that article . The first line says ---- > Shared interrupts are often the cause of high interrupt latency and can also cause stability issues. They are typically undesirable and a side effect of the limited number of physical interrupt lines on a computer.
Thanks for the help . Problem still there . Maybe someone with a smaller ego can help . After even more reading and searching it looks to me like i got two things muddled up in the way i ' understood ' system interupts vs system overrides ? BUT problem still there .
Dealing with high interrupt CPU usage has a pretty consistent list of suggestions when you look it up. Disable hardware you don't need (BIOS and/or device manager), update drivers, BIOS and OS. Outside of VMs gitching out I have not seen high interrupt usage for quite some time but in the past it was usually the result of combining old motherboard + CPU with new add in devices and new OS. Even then it is super rare. I have an Elite 8300 and even a rp5700 running happily on the latest build of Windows 10.
Thank you . @ Problem ---- > I have an elitebook 8540p and i'm experimenting with win 10 workstation 19042.610 with all updates and drivers and nothing cut out . Theres a big problem with system interupts . When i start my computer it takes ages to start and the desktop and taskbar take ages to load . I cant use the computer in that time . The first thing i tried is to open that task manager to see whats useing the cpu power . After X tries and it not working where it either didnt open or opened and froze i maneged to see that it was caused by system interupts . So i looked in google and read things for several days . There are four types of information = technical things that explain what it is / does ........ low level things that just explain it basicly ....... LOADS of people haveing problems with it and asking for solutiions ......... and loads of solutions that dont solve anything . All of wich i tried . At the same time i looked through all the settings in the settings section and found a list of microsoft componants that one can delete / change .......... i'm not sure what it was called ( maybe system overrides ? ) but the explanation looked very much like the low level explenations of sytem interupts . I tried the option to stop those asociations and it either changed the associations or just deleted them from the list . It didnt stop the system interupts problem and i didnt notice any performance problems or loss . One of those componants was something like ie4.exe ? Something that i've seen before but thought was a remnant of older microsoft systems ....... that i dont use or need . Nothing worked and the problem is still there every time after three new installs . And thats why i asked for help . My latest theory is that its zone alarm free firewall and microsoft security features vieing with eachother for power . After putting zone alarm in i have to restart and try to get into the net at least 7 times before zone alarm stops bombing me with requests to aprove actions from microsoft componants . That never happened with other win 10 versions . In this version i'm also haveing problems with microsoft security componats that i never had with other experiments with other win 10 versions .
That is new enough that there should not be an issue. Make sure the BIOS is up to date and make sure all of the drivers are updated after install. Snappy drivers is a good way to shortcut that process if you don't want to dig for them yourself. Next, start with a clean install and do not install any software at all, see if that is stable. If it is, start adding software and see if anything acts up.
Thanks . They were all clean installs with all updates from here and from wsusoffline120 and the drivers have all beeen updated with snappy driver installer and after that with driver pack solution . Nothing cut out and no registry tuning with .reg files or dism++ or other similar software . I did install software before i installed zonealarm as i always install all the software first and then the firewall last to avoid it slowing the instalation of other software down . Now i tried cutting the windows security bits out with NTLite and the computer flys ...... but i want it to work without castrating it
Technically, changing from "Windows Pro" to "Pro for Workstations" or "Enterprise" is applying an enablement package (EP) triggered by changing the Windows 10 SKU. Can anyone report a distinct advantage in using "Pro for Workstations" versus "Windows Pro"? If you don't have high performance hardware, is it worth changing to the "Pro for Workstations" SKU? EDIT: I guess I should have looked at post #5434. Does anyone else have any comments about "Pro for Workstations"? A related question: Is it necessary to use a "Business ISO" to install "Windows Pro" in order to enable the embedded features of "Pro for Workstations" at a later time?
