    No way. OS files are associated for that.

    There may or may not be an ISO...MS never stated that all fast ring pushes would be pushed to slow ring, we have all just kind of assumed it.

    :biggrin::biggrin: That is not correct...

    Windows Vista
    Windows Vista SP1
    Windows Vista SP2
    Windows 7 = Windows Vista SP3
    Windows 7 SP 1 = Windows Vista SP4
    Windows 8 = Windows Vista SP5 ...
    Windows 8.1 = Windows Vista SP6
    Windows 10 = Windows Vista SP7...

    ^^ ich mean... realistically Windows 7 was an optimized Windows Vista... And Windows 8 was an optimized Windows 7 without a Start-Menü... :D

    But the Funniest thing ever would be if microsoft enable the "Dark Windows 10" Theme which pretty much looks like good old windows vista... even the Symbols and Icons are equal :D ... but uglier ...
    Then the circle has closed... :clap: ;)

    But windows 7 is different than windows vista. and windows 8/8.1 is the same like windows 7 with addition of metro apps.
    And windows 10 is different than windows 8.1.

    @cuteee...

    you get that that was a joke, right? ^^

    but... for myself: the experince is very similar (if you install e.g. start menu in windows 8, and eg. hot corners and aerosnap in windows vista)... much more than the step between windows 98 to xp and xp to windows vista =)

    but.. you know that i was not serious ^^

    I am in the process of doing my build 10049 installation. There is something I found discouraging about those who are testing the new TP build regarding the Project Spartan. Nobody has commented on it with their findings now that it is the major change recently.

    I agree on the Windows 7 being an optimized Vista but it was much cleaner useability wise than Vista.

    Now After Windows 8 they just tried and filed to implement apps into Windows. The useability of the operating system and general aesthetics of Windows went to hell. They adopted the mind set that of Apple in terms of minimalism look wise. I mean the OS has become more and more minimalistic over the years but starting with Windows 8 and wrapping up with 10. Windows 10 is the ugliest OS I have ever seen as its like looking at modern art (Win 10) and comparing it to classical art (Win 7). I'm still trying to figure out why Apps on MS are even necessary.

    Is the 'sfc /scannow' command working in this particular build?

    LMAO you already slam the door on your hand with that nightly build statement.

    Like i said linux has it's uses, but it won't be mainstream anytime in the foreseeable future(desktop).

    This seems to be a major problem in Windows 10 builds.

    What is mainstream to you? Linux distros run on more devices than windows OSes do.
    Nobody refers to desktop PCs only. And no reasonable private person would use/buy a windows server (license) in order to provide his site.
    Linux distros even run on Samsung TVs, routers, PVRs, Android is a crippled Linux with Java support, lol....
