Considering the "cheap hardware aspect", I cant wait to run "Windows 11" on some old devices. ^^

That move will dig their own grave
The only pro move should be make windows officially free and open sources. Focus on the OS stability, security, and privacy. They can focus to make a profit on the windows store.

That won't happen anyway, because it's Microsoft.
Chorme OS will become the new norm for the new users because of android

    If true, good news.

A feature update once a year is more than enough.

I believe they are going with Apple's route here.

According to Wzor, there are other codenames too.

    "Vesper Martini"

    "Moon Light"

    "Star Trek"

    And

    "Ninja Cat".

    So... Windows 12, 14 (cause MS doesn't like 13...), 15 and 16?

not at all, because for example if a new technology that require kernel changes is released in the begin of the year, then you will need to wait to the next year to use that technology properly.

Windows 10 EOL (Enterprise) has been set as October 14, 2025.

And the listing is clear that’s not for 21H1, it’s for “Windows 10” as a whole.

I think this whole Windows 11 thing is just marketing and won't be any real huge changes.

We see it in other product lines like Google Chrome, Apple iOS, Firefox, etc. I can see Microsoft following them and releasing a "new" windows version every year.

Shame. With just barely over a week to go, I don't think we'll have any sort of leak anymore... :(
Time is going by fast OMG...
