Does the new taskbar still have this weird icon resize/resample issue where the running/pinned program's 32x32 px icon is resized to 24x24 px or a 24x24 px icon is upscaled to 32x32 and then back to 24x24 px resulting in a blurry taskbar icon no matter what?
Shouldn't this discussion be in a new sub forum named Windows 11? I guess that will happen after the announcement on the 24th.
Once official news and downloads directly from MS exist I am sure they will reorganize things and make official threads.
Just installed the Windows 11 ISO using MSMG's workaround. I used Rufus to make a Windows 10 21H1 USB stick and then replaced the install.wim in the sources folder with that from the Windows 11 ISO. So far so good, Windows Updates picked up all of the drivers well except for the fingerprint scanner. Using the Windows 10 driver immediately fixed that. I quite like the acrylic/frosted glass look they're going with in the transparency. Other than that I find nothing fundamentally different with Windows 10. The centered taskbar is weird too, I mean if they'd stick with that look moving forward I hope they do something to make it work like a dock or a panel. This gives off a lot of ChromeOS vibes with how minimalist it approaches the taskbar. The start menu is also quite counterproductive in my opinion, I mean I don't want it to be riddled with tiles but just having half the start menu to be for pinned apps and the other half for ads is a tad bit too much. I wish they would change it to have the shortcuts to Windows Explorer and settings or to have it go straight to all apps.

I realized that this is not Windows 11 but rather a beta version of Microsoft's Chinese Office and has nothing to do with the new Windows 11 ! This is a hoax
Thanks, I already have it installed Edition Windows 11 Pro Version Dev Installed on 6/16/2021 OS build 21996.1 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 321.14700.0.3
Very happy with Windows 11 so far. Does anyone have been able to assign a static IP? I only have internet with DHCP.
Right Click Network and internet settings in the taskbar, change adapter options, select your network, right click device, proprieties and ipV4-ipV6, you can manually assign IP . Note the DNS settings using DHCP and use the same ones via manual config.
It doesn't work. Also Troublshooting solves it enabling DHCP for me. In the ethernet Properties it let me update the settings but internet won't work.
The tweak won't have any effect due to Windows Feature Experience Pack i.e the New Start Menu and Taskbar. Windows 11 = Windows 10 + Windows Feature Experience Pack Check here removing Windows Feature Experience Pack you will get Windows 11 Classic interface but you will also lose some of the features.
I got the old Start Menu with the registry tweak. Only the small Taskbar not working with the registry.
Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] "TaskbarSi"=dword:00000000
