Is there a workaround way to kinda "force" the LPs working with the IoT? Would like to have it minimal localized so I can install a customized version on my families laptops. A lot of programs and drivers I simply can download localized, but some messages need to be translated so they know whats going without contacting me. They are still refusing to use another operating systems even they simply using the browser and office.... So they can now already enjoy a much better system, without the need to wait even more months.

Hello, I am on windows 11 LTSC Iot build 26100.863, and I keep getting the error code: 0x80248014 when trying to install any updates. Does anyone else have the same issue?
Can i just run the setup.exe file from the iso? I really don't want to reinstall and backup all my files
Hi All. I have IoT LTSC 24H2 installed and stumbled upon posts in the internet that it is possible to remove Edge via switching to LTSC 24H2, setting region to EU (France or Germany etc.), removing Edge and then going back to IoT LTSC. I switched editions via MAS and it is showing I have LTSC now, rebooted PC, changed region to France (tried also Germany) but nothing worked (Edge "Uninstall" button is greyed out in the Apps). So this thingy is not working as people say or some update (I have latest .1301 installed) ruined this option? I have also LTSC 24H2 installed and there when I change region to France I have "Uninstall" button available.
download any 24h2 pro from uupdump in config file change skipEdge to 1 , SkipApps =1, AppsLevel =1 download install and you get pro without anything no edge webview or edge update no apps store, if you will want store then just wsreset -i if you youre interested in 24h2 iot ltsc then you can use darkdinosaur script to remove edge defender and disable telemetry. modify script as you want before using it https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...fications-overview.83744/page-17#post-1683742
I know there are various scripts to remove stuff from OS but I wanted to check the official way by Microsoft to remove Edge while in EU region. And this works for LTSC 24H2 but not for IoT LTSC 24H2 which has been converted to LTSC 24H2 (MAS) for some reason.
after 1 month usage with various experimental tweaks and performance enhancements, I found this version very stable, on par with previous releases in term of speed and reliability. 65 processes after boot, 1.7-1.8GB memory usage, CPU fairly quiet with occasional spiking on idle, no BSOD so far and fast response opening programs and menus.

Comparing to 22h2, 24h2 is far behind. Idle Cpu usage from 0.5% to 2% while 22h2 idle usage 0%. Nothing has improved for an average user but Microsoft made many changes to make sure user doesn't remove packages Microsoft doesn't want them to remove. Been testing 24h2 for weeks now and it's big no no no so keep it Microsoft
mine is running with an i9-9900X X-series Processor @ ~ 5ghz, I did not notice 2% usage on idle apart an occasional spike. agree that there is too much junk in this edition and does not fit MS LTSB/C "critical system environment" scenarios. no harm installing on a spare partition to experiment with, can always do a quick format to get rid of it!
Hey, may I ask what scripts you exactly used on it? I work a lot with NTLite, mainly to remove all the spy-sht, debloating and pre-configuration, but I still need a preset for reducing the background services and tasks. Also.. very weirdly I on my current system (what has enough ram [32] and place for pagefile), I need to close and re-open the browser (around 15GB) otherwise system weirdly crashes into black screen. Idk what that is about.. I would guess it has to do with the GPU, but it runs smooth,driver is up2date and no any other problems with it (although its pretty old one), so yea.. obscure.. I would prefer a maximal fast desktop (so simply stuff like browser, explorer and other less cpu-usage 2d stuff hurry in their jobs), but even on a friends system (modern i9) its same slow. So yea I dont know what else I can do, except for simply using a different operating system.
